Fall update. I was again unable to get through all of my mounts before we started the leveling business back up. Due to that, and the number of hours I have been working, I do not anticipate accepting additional work this season. I will be trying to get last years finished up as soon as we shut down.

This is off another local taxidermist site. I once again have to figure out how in the world I’m going to find time to finish mounts, some from the season before last. My concrete business is a job and a half until it snows. I will likely align with these this fall and limit how much I take, unless I decide to go full time. Time will tell

2021 update. I am still trying to find time to complete work from last year. Due to that, I am only accepting a very limited amount of work this fall. I planned on having everything completed by the end of March. For the first time in 30 years, I cut myself pretty bad in early January. That set me back about a month. I have a concrete raising business in the summer. Unlike taxidermy, it pays the bills. I cannot justify mounting things when I have that business to run. So this doesn’t happen again, I am going to greatly reduce the amount of work I take on.

Unless it is a mount I have donated to Beast Feast or Operation Impact 22, I may refer you. I won’t be accepting any bird, fish, or small mammal mounts. The rest will be limited, but if I take it, you will have grade A service

I’m airbrushing deer, instead of being out with the family. The older I get, the less acceptable this is. I had a plan, but it failed me. I’m behind and hate it, to the point this could be my last year for awhile. People say no hurry, but ask how it’s coming every couple weeks. In the meantime I haven’t taken my son hunting, gone fishing, mushroom hunting, or relaxed on a day off. I’ll get it when I get it, but when it’s done it could be done until life slows down.
