Catio
To all my clients please make sure to bring your dog on a leash to ensure their safety as well as the safety of the wildlife around our property. We have Deer, Fox, Bunnies, etc… in the wooded area around us.
Also you may find our 2 kitties saying Hi to you in their new “Catio”🐈⬛🐱🐈
Paraíso Pet Spa
We’ve been hard at work adding some extra space to this PARAÍSO (paradise).
We are now offering a limited selection of products (shampoos, colognes, etc…) for everyone that just LOVES how their pup smells when they leave the spa 🐶
They are sure to be spoiled over here at this Paraíso 🌴
New addition!
Some will think this is too much lol 😆 never too much for the pups!
I got a towel warmer especially for the little ones, and adding some calming spray for those nervous pups will give us better results during the grooming process!🌴
Brush and comb
Here is how I brush and comb doodles ( short- medium coat length)
First I used a pin brush on ears and tail. Then use my comb to see if there is any matting left .
For the body I use a slicker brush( do not brush with the grain of the coat ) you need to brush it against - use your hand to separate the coat on a small amount of hair to make it easier to brush .
BE CAREFUL to not hurt their skin . And do not brush one spot more than 10 times because it can irritate their skin.
This will help to get rid of any matting and will give them that fluffy appearance. And always always at the end verify there is no more matting with a comb.

Matting
Here is a quick tip for you!: How to know if your pup is matted.
Grab a comb and pass it through their coat - if when you are passing the comb through their coat it gets caught frequently you know they are matted>
Use the large teeth of the comb and start to slowly comb out the mat - do this cautiously and FREQUENTLY to avoid future matting. 🌴🐾
New lift!
So I have a large number of senior dogs and some dogs with hip problems. I decided to invest on this lift to make it easy on them and on my back lol 🤣
