A little about me

I have loved animals ever since I can remember. After high school, I worked as a Pharmacy Technician and went to Community College for several years. However, I knew I wanted a career with animals. I started out as a bather at Petsmart and soon knew I wanted to be a Groomer. I graduated from grooming school in 2001. This was the best decision I ever made. In 2004, I obtained PET-N-ON-THE-RITZ, the 2nd best decision I have ever made. In July 2019, I will have been in business for 15 Years. I still LOVE what I do and I have met many great people and DOGS along the way. I have found my calling in life and I wouldn't change it for the world. Furthermore, I have two outstanding dogs. First there is Madison, my 12 year old Standard Poodle, whom I rescued at 8 months from The Grosse Ile Animal Shelter. I have always said she was meant to stay after ACO Lora brought her in for a grooming and i just never let her leave. Then there is SoCo, aka Security, who a lot of people have come to know as the second door bell of the shop. I rescued her at 8 weeks old in Kimball Mi. She is now 7 years old and has been working by my side ever since the day we brought her home.
