Aww Rats Rattery

It is with a heavy heart that I have decided to close down my rattery. This has been a very difficult decision to make as I have put a lot of love into breeding them, for colors, patterns, coats, eye color, temperament, and health. Unfortunately, it's become physically too hard on me to continue as I get older. I have kept a few boys as my own personal pets.

For those of you that have my lines as pets in your homes, Thank you for giving them loving homes and keeping me updated on all of them.

Ankle is healing and I've started PT, a bit painful as all the muscles and ligaments have to learn to work the way they were meant to. Walking on my toes has strengthened some muscles that shouldn't be. LOL

Anyways on to news about rats! A few breedings were still going on and I'm happy with their outcome. My Odd Eye male IS 100% het hairless and has produced a hairless odd eye female along with a few other odd eyes. He will go on to be bred to a couple of blue het hairless dumbo girls soon.

Some enclosures needed to be refitted and I'll be working in getting a water line in today as well as getting some pairings together. More updates on availability will be coming in the next month.

If anyone is interested in hairless or odd eyes please message me asap as these will not last.

Durning my down time I have still been pretty busy with my other business and I took up chainmaille again. Photos of odd eye and his babies, chainmaille, and vinyls for your viewing pleasure. Oh and Xoey my pibble wanted to say HI! There are a few pics of my ankle too. O.o

VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! PLEASE DO NOT FILL OUT THE APPLICATION FOR ADOPTION UNTIL YOU ARE ASKED TO. Filling out the application does not push you ahead of the 50 plus people already on my waiting list. If you are in a rush to get rittens, I'm sorry but I'm not the breeder for you, my waiting list can take up to 3-4 months.

Another Announcement! I fractured my ankle and tore ligaments as well, so I will not have rittens available for adoption for another possible 4-5 months. Another announcement will come with updates of my mobility.

If anyone is interested in 2 males, about 8 months of age, please send me a message. These boys have been in a clean pet home, are very sweet and loving, they will come with their setup, and I'll supply you with about 5lbs of food. These boys were produced by myself. Mom is heartbroken that she must part with them. :( They have never been around any other rats than ones I have produced, I know this as a fact as their mom is a close personal friend. Dumbo Blue Agouti is "Lead" and the Mismarked Agouti is "Ink". Send me a message with any questions and to apply for their adoption.

I do not breed for pink eyed whites aka albino. If you're looking for those I can not help you. However, I occasionally have Silvers. Silvers are a Blue with a Pink Eyed Dilute, they look white with a tiny slate blue color.

I have no adoption appts today, so on my list of things to do beside my actual job and taking care of the critters is to get some photos up of our rittens.

I'm happy to say that our Agouti Blaze girl had her litter the other day, I'm hopping to see some Blue Agouti from her.
