Companion Animal Hospital is now offering Veterinary laser therapy!
Per AAHA; "Veterinary laser therapy is an innovative treatment that has gained popularity in recent years as veterinarians discover its benefits for pets. Used similarly to acupuncture, massage therapy, and other alternative therapies, laser treatment can be used in conjunction with, or instead of, medication to manage pain, inflammation, and wound healing."
Check out this article to see how laser therapy can benefit your pets or call to schedule an appointment to discuss with your veterinarian.

Please join us in welcoming the newest addition to our team Katie Jo!!

Katie Jo is excited to join the Companion Animal Hospital team as a Certified Veterinary Technician, bringing fifteen years of experience in veterinary medicine. Her passion for animal care began at the age of 14 when she had the opportunity to work in the field with bats, coyotes, and crows, sparking a lifelong commitment to this profession. Specializing in Exotics, Emergency/Intensive Care, and Wildlife Rehabilitation, Katie Jo has had the privilege of working in a variety of specialty animal hospitals. She has cared for a diverse range of species—from the tiniest reptiles to the largest parrots—equipping her with a unique skill set that enables her to provide exceptional care in high-pressure environments, particularly in the ER and ICU. Dedicated to lifelong learning, Katie Jo actively seeks to stay updated on the latest advancements in veterinary practices. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys painting, exploring graveyards, reading, and spending quality time with her beloved 19-year-old bearded dragon, Reptar. Katie Jo looks forward to connecting with fellow animal lovers and sharing her knowledge and experiences in the exotic animal world!
