We will now be asking for riders names when taking bookings for the infield, so we ensure we have signed waivers and day use fees for non members.

Also if you are coaching / teaching on site please let use know who is instructing and provide us a copy of your instructors insurance. Thanks

As the weather improves and our site opens for the 2024 season, please remeber we need 24 hours notice for booking to use the infield and rings ( booking will also be required for the round pen once it opens in May).

All visiting instructors must have third party liability insurance and a copy of this insurance must be sent to HGAA prior to field use.

Trail riders do not need to book to park and access trails but to park on the site they must either be “friends of HGAA” member $40 or pay a day use fee of $25.

Thank you Groton Pony Club members and parents for doing an awesome job cleaning up Hazel Grove Park yesterday evening! The recent storms made for yoeman’s work clearing limbs and leaves from the grounds.
The infield opens for riding on Monday, and GPC mounted meetings start next Thursday afternoon.

We are so sorry Mother Nature has not been very cooperative this spring causing us to delay opening the infield at Hazel Grove Park. The good news is that we will be opening it to riders on Monday, April 15.

There are areas that are still wet so please be respectful and avoid those areas. The dressage area, and the grassy edge of the track on the north side are still too wet to ride in so please stay off (this means no galloping around the inside edge of the track). We will have signage to remind people of this.

You must sign up to use the infield whether you have a group of one or eight. No need to signup if you are using the trails.

Our new round pen, over by the wash stalls, should be useable by the middle of May! This will also require signing up to use. Check our FB page for updates.

With this lovely, spring-like weather we know that everyone is eager to get out of the indoor, ramp up conditioning, and start XC schooling. We will open the infield as soon as it is dry enough to handle galloping and jumping horses.
