So proud of this pups progress. At 6 months old, Norman's insecurities were starting to show big time. This took form through constant, nurotic barking. (Barking at any and all dogs, noises/objects he did not recognize)
These insecurities/lack of confidence was keeping he and his owner from experiencing the joy life had to offer, and instead, saw the world as one big scary place.
But NOT anymore! With the right training, communication and lifestyle changes, Norman is thriving and becoming more confident in himself and his leader each & every day 💚

This is what it's all about.. Never been more proud of my 90 lbs. german shepherd. Atlas held his "down" command on a tiny, wooden ski lift bench as we ascended into the clouds while we dangled dangerously high above the mountain.
Here's the cool part:
I cannot physically restrain Atlas. He has learned to let me, but he is MUCH stronger & he COULD over power me if he panicked.
But Atlas didn't panic. He kept his cool. This tells me my dog trust me. The kind of trust that is earned, not given.
Does your dog bark non-stop? This was Garrett & Takoda during their drop-off.
Continuous barking is a super common issue and is stressfull for the people and dogs and everybody nearby.
but it's an issue, like many others, that can absolutely be remedied with a little training and change of lifestyle.
Now that these 2 hooligans have a solid obedience foundation and know how to relax, they can go out in public and spend more time with the family, and less time inbthe crate or barking in the separate room.

How is Megan able to easily walk 2 80 lbs. dogs and push a stroller at the same time? I can tell you, she's not using her superior strength or overly complicated face halters or "no pull" harnesses.

Daisy update 🌼 "How do I know my dog will listen and respond to me (the owner) and not only for you? (the trainer)"
I hear this question often and although there are many answers to this question, one thing I suggest for kids who are mature enough:
➡️ Teach your child how to work with their dog!
The video above is a great example of how to properly involve our children in the training process and how everybody in the family can have the same (if not better!) results than the trainer ❤️

Dogwood Pass
Milo kicking butt with his owner during their first lesson! This was the first time Milo's owners were able to walk him with ease. Milo would pull the leash so hard during walks, he would choke himself and restrict air flow which can eventually lead to neck injuries. Massive pulling can be dangerous and hurtful to our dogs. Best to teach them how to walk next to you so everybody can enjoy the walk :)
