Echo Pines Equine, Inc., founded by Steve and Melissa Gilliland in 2022, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Grove City, Pennsylvania. The organization provides Trauma Focused Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, based on the principles of the Natural Lifemanship Institute, with a mission to help individuals find peace and fulfillment through therapeutic interactions with horses. Echo Pines Equine emphasizes building healthy connections between clients and their equine partners to enhance the quality of life, heal trauma, and increase joy. Their services are offered at no cost, supported by a diverse herd that includes quarter horses, donkeys, a mule, and a miniature horse.

PET RESCUE HIGHLIGHT:

Tri-county Animal Rescue Center, Pennsylvania
Tri-County Animal Rescue Center rescues needy cats and dogs and provides them with the quality care they deserve until we can place them in forever homes where they will be treated as part of the family. We are committed to preventing cruelty to animals and to helping reduce pet overpopulation by providing access to low-cost spay/neuter programs, and education for the general public.

We are a NO-KILL facility located in the former Clarion County Humane Society building in Shippenville, PA. We can accommodate approximately 20 felines and 10 canines (depending on age and size). We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

Today is National Charity Day! It seems like a perfect day for another PET RESCUE HIGHLIGHT:

All Paws Matter

Our purpose is to be the voice for all animals; to shelter any discarded, unwanted, or suffering animal, to the best of our ability, and to place adoptable animals in homes where they will thrive.

Founded in 2020, All Paws Matter rescue is a 501c3 accredited non-profit organization that focuses primarily on cat and dog rescue. We are a foster-based rescue that is based in Butler County, Ohio – though we try to extend that reach for animals in need.

Pet Rescue Highlight:

Saving Shepherds Rescue, founded by Lori Moses in August 2019, is dedicated to rescuing German Shepherds and shepherd mixes, primarily from Texas and other southern states. Lori's lifelong passion for animals, especially German Shepherds, inspired her to start this rescue after years of fostering experience. Since its inception, the rescue has grown from Lori fostering dogs alone to a thriving community that has saved hundreds of dogs and placed them in loving homes. Saving Shepherds Rescue continues to expand, driven by a mission to save even more dogs with the support of donations, fostering, and adoptions.

This privately owned business recently celebrated its 25th anniversary. Throughout its first 25 years, Grove City Agway and Pets has grown and developed into not only an agricultural and gardening store, but also a pet and pet supply store. Grove City Agway and Pets holds many presentations and seminars for animals and gardening. They also hold a rabies clinic in the spring and fall to help keep animals safe and up-to-date with the rabies vaccine.
