Just wanted to post a reminder that we are closing the office on Wednesday and Thursday of this week; November 27th and November 28th.

That being said we will be here Monday (today) and Tuesday (tomorrow) until 7 pm for medication pick-ups. As always, if you need refills we kindly ask for a 24 hour notice in getting those processed and filled.

Tomorrow is Trick or Treat night in Grove City. Here are some safety tips and reminders to keep in mind for our furry friends this holiday!

🎃 DO NOT FEED YOUR PETS CANDY/TREATS, most are highly toxic and can be fatal if ingested.
-Chocolate
-Sugar Free Gum
-Raisins
-Xylitol
-Many more

🎃 Pick up candy wrappers and watch while walking your pet in the neighborhood for fallen treats/wrappers. A foreign body surgery is a mean trick no one wants on Halloween.

🎃 Keep lit jack-o-lanterns, candles, and other Halloween decor out of reach of your pets.

🎃 If planning to put your pet in a costume this year just be sure it is comfortable and not too tight. It should also not have any loose pieces or tags that can be easily chewed off and swallowed. You also want to be sure parts of the costume aren’t blocking your pets sight or airways.

🎃 If your pet is not accustomed to strangers just let them watch the fun from the safety of their home. Better to be safe than sorry this holiday!

🎃 If you do plan to take your pet out with you for the festivities be sure they are microchipped and have current tags/ID in case they get spooked.

🎃 Glow sticks are fun but if punctured, by let’s say a tooth, the fluid inside that can be harmful if ingested.

We are all very aware of the detrimental effect Hurricane Helene has caused for many people. This is why we have partnered with the Jackson Township Fire Department to collect donations.

Below we have added a list of needed supplies for donations. We are accepting donations for both People and Pets. Our box is located in our lobby, which you can drop off at any time we are open. We are only accepting donations through Friday November 1st.

Any donations are appreciated and welcomed. If you cannot make it into see us before Friday the Fire Station is taking donations up to November 2nd and then they will be taking them down to North Carolina.

Puppy Frank got to come see us today for his second exam and vaccines. Every single team member working today made a point to come say “Hello” and we got little happy tinkles in return!

Frank is a 10 week old mixed breed fur baby adopted by one of our amazing clients. He is doing great! He left with a fresh pedicure, monthly prevention, a clean bill of health from Dr. Lauron and a belly full of treats!

Here at CCAH we take this week as a time to appreciate ALL of our team members with lunches or breakfast provided by the doctors or reps, goodie bags for the team members, and fun games and snacks all week long!

Our slogan is “Caring for Pets and their People” and every single team member at our hospital is a prime example of just that! From our Doctors, Practice Manager, RVT’s, Vet Assistants, and Client Care Coordinators we strive to give the best care possible. Our hospital couldn’t function without each and every one of our team members.
