Grove City Area Pet Rescue is a 501C3 organization that helps local animals find forever homes.

We are a 501C3 organization that tries to help as many local homeless pets find forever homes and decrease the area's overpopulation of dogs and cats through spaying and neutering. All of the dogs and cats are examined by a vet, spayed or neutered and current with vaccinations before they are placed. Adult dogs are tested for heartworms and cats/kittens are tested for FIV/FeLV. Beetlejuice is a black & white tuxie with an adorable pink nose. You don't have to say his name 3 times to summon him - just crack a can of mooshy food & he'll come running!

The Halloween Brothers are ready for adoption - this tenacious little guy is Michael Myers.

Michael is a handsome grey tabby with a white stripe right down the middle of his face. This Michael Myers stalks toy mice (instead of teenagers) & has recently discovered the joy of treats.

The Halloween Brothers are ready for adoption - this groovy little guy is Ash (Williams).

Ash is an adorable grey & white kitten who is quick to purr & loves to play! Even if he is busy chasing "Deadites" around the foster room, he can be summoned by the sound of opening a mooshy food can.

Mama Linn has beautiful markings and is lovable! She loves to follow you around from room to room, settle in on the arm of a chair next to you and roll over to let you know she trusts you. Mama Linn’s age is unknown. She is an adult cat but still likes to play. She’s had her shots, has been tested and is spayed. She is certain to make a warm and affectionate companion. This mischievous boy is Billy Goat.

Billy Goat is black with one little white spot on his chest. His fur is super soft & sleek. He was raised with all the Barn Kitties this year, so he was given a barnyard name as well.

Billy Goat loves to chase toys, wrestle with his kitty friends, & get into trouble! Even though he can be a little naughty sometimes, he apologizes with purrs & headbonks. It's hard to stay mad a this little guy when he's in your lap, on his back, & making sky-biscuits.

This naughty boy with the sweet face is Haystack.

Haystack was one of the first barn kitties who came to us this summer. He was also the first one to trust his foster parents. Even though he was the runt of the farm, he was setting a good example for his siblings by letting us bathe & medicate him right off the bat.

Haystack came to us with an infected eye. We believe it is healed now but scarred. The vet thinks he has a little vision in that eye, so we didn't remove it. Having limited vision in one eye has not stopped Haystack from chasing toys, playing with his foster-mates, or running through the litterboxes when he gets the zoomies. He is a little bundle of energy & will keep his new family entertained!

Lady Grey and Jasper are up for adoption again, through no fault of their own. These two fur babies had found a home but were returned due to reasons unrelated to them. Lady Grey, playful and nurturing like a big sister to other foster kittens, and Jasper, full of curiosity and affection, are both hoping for a second chance to find their forever family. It’s heartbreaking to see them back, but we believe the perfect home is out there. If you have room in your heart and home, please consider giving Lady Grey and/or Jasper the love they deserve

We worry so much about the “special” ones, the one eyed, the 3 legged and all the others that have something that make them special but are often overlooked.
