Who else’s dog has winter coat coming up faster than you can sweep up? We had a very hairy Saturday, both grooming tables in use as we accumulated lots of hair for a Husky, 2 Australian Shepherds and a German Shepherd! We do have some weekend appointments for hairy desheds available!

We have some of our normal weekdays available as well as limited availability the weekend of November 18/19 and we can accommodate baths and toenail trims in the evening on weekdays.

As many people know, our family is very involved with competing with our dogs! As well as conformation, we also compete in events called Fastcat and CAT. The CAT part stands for Coursing Ability Test, Fastcat is a 100 yard dash in a straight line while the cat course is 300 or 600 yard course consisting of turns. Here are some pictures of our dogs: Jess, Dallas and their kids have the Poodle, Elodie, French Bulldog, Buckles and German Shepherd Detroit, Christina, Don and their kids have Nico and Mila the German Shepherds and Tiffany and Alex have Enzo the Australian Shepherd. The dogs really enjoy it and we get to make dog events, family events!

Summer is here finally! That means our busy season with boarding is here! We want to give a reminder if you are planning on boarding your dog, please be sure to have them current with flea and tick preventative! Unfortunately with as mild as a winter as we had, fleas and ticks are horrible this year! We are being diligent with checking dogs coming in and if necessary we will give flea baths at cost.

If your dog is not currently on a preventative, we suggest reaching out to your veterinarian for them after the reports of knock offs being passed off. Thank you! And here is a cute picture of Addyson with her puppy London with his puppy class diploma!

It’s that time of year and we feel the pain of the super shedders! Detroit had a bath and blow out on Easter but her hair wasn’t quite ready to come out, now it was very ready! Let us give your sweeping a break!

We are super excited for nicer weather! We can finally start training outdoors! Detroit (German Shepherd) is starting foundation work for scent work titles and Buckles (French Bulldog) is working on her manners to earn her CGC (Canine Good Citizen) title as well as tricks for her trick dog titles!

Due to a family emergency, Pat is flying to Florida today with her return unknown. She will be reaching out to all of her grooming appointments to cancel and all responses will be delayed as she will not be leaving her phone with Jess. On the return appointments will be rescheduled.

We would like to let everyone know that Pat will be taking a much needed vacation to visit her mom in Germany mid October!
