Keystone Safari in Grove City, PA is among our most supportive network members! Let us count the ways…

They:
1. recently deployed responders to assist Peace River Wildlife Center - PRWC, and volunteered to be on standby for other responses

2. designed a round up program in their gift shop that has resulted in ongoing financial support for ZDR3

3. explain that they are part of the ZDR3 Network on the homepage of their website (see link in comments) that has led people to support the network

4. educated children who visited their park about the how staff at different zoological facilities care about one another and each others' animals, which was featured in an article in their local media (see link in comments)

🦬 We will be open from 11am-5pm this Saturday and Sunday (closed Friday). Celebrate National Bison Day on Sunday by visiting Bubbles and our Bison herd!

🦬 Take a drive-thru in your own vehicle or hop on a safari truck tour! November 11th will be the last day of the season for safari truck tours. The drive-thru will remain open for personal vehicles, on a weather dependent basis, at this time.

WHO’S READY FOR TRICK OR TREAT AT

🎃 Join us this Friday and Saturday from 6pm-9pm in our walk-thru park for a night of spooky fun! Wear your best costume (inflatables are not permitted) and explore the park! Feed the animals, visit multiple candy stations, and enjoy Halloween fun for the whole family!

🌅 Join us for an evening adventure as we stay open for walk-thru and drive-thru guests from 10 AM to 7 PM on Friday and Saturday. Our Sunset Safari departures at 6:00 PM and 6:15 PM offer the perfect opportunity to view, feed, and learn about over 100 animals while soaking in a breathtaking sunset.

HAPPY HOMESCHOOL WEEK

✏️ Yesterday guests enjoyed activities, enrichments, and keeper talks. They were able to learn all about enrichment over at the barnyard area!

✏️ What is enrichment? Enrichment is essential to keep animals mentally and physically active, improving their overall well-being. At we provide a variety of enrichment activities such as puzzle feeders, interactive toys, and habitat modifications that stimulate natural behaviors like foraging, exploring, and problem-solving.

✏️ Pictured below are some of the enrichment items used here at the park that guests were educated on. Taylor also made an enrichment item for our Keel Billed Toucans as part of her internship program! Their enrichment encouraged foraging by using browse materials such as straw, paper shreds, watermelon, and berries!

WELCOME TO OCTOBER AT

This month is packed with exciting adventures for everyone! Here’s what’s happening:

🦒 Sunset Safari Tours: every Friday and Saturday at 6:00pm and 6:15pm! Signups are first come, first served in the giftshop. Witness the animals at dusk as the sun sets over the safari.

🦒 Trick or Treat: on the last two Fridays and Saturdays of the month we will have trick or treat from 6pm-9pm in the walk-thru. Enjoy spooky treats and fun for the whole family!

🦒 Homeschool Week: October 7th-11th we will have special activities and educational experiences tailored for homeschoolers!
