Hello everyone! I am reaching out to notify everyone of some upcoming changes. Starting in October, I will be implementing some new requirements in order to be sure everyone is getting the best service possible! As most of you know, I only groom part time and my availability is very limited. I have to make the most of the appointments I have available!
DEPOSITS AND CANCELLATIONS:
I am now going by a strike system!
•The first cancellation in less than 48 hours will be forgiven and you will be asked to pay a 50% deposit on the rescheduled groom. The second time, I will require you to pay for the groom in full before I add you to the schedule. The third offense, I will ask you to seek services elsewhere.
•no call no shows will be immediately removed from my clientele.
DROP OFF AND PICK UP
All applies unless previously discussed!
•Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes before your scheduled time, and remain in your car until I come out to greet you. Shoot me a text when you arrive!
•I will let you know when the groom is completed and then you have 30 minutes from there to come and grab your baby. If you go over 30 minutes an immediate 30.00 daycare charge will be added. If it goes past an hour, it will be 60.00.
SCHEDULING
•I only book one month at a time. Booking opens up on the 30th of the month prior. All regulars and clients on a schedule will have first dibs. I encourage all regular customers to join the Paws and claws VIP group. Ask me to send you an invite! Once they have their appointments scheduled, I will open up the rest of the dates to the public.
•I am getting increasingly more booked out with every month, expect me to be about two weeks out at any given time! Please be patient and allow me time to get to everyone!
PAYMENT
I only accept cash, Venmo, zelle, or I can take credit card as a last resort. Payment is due at time of pick up.
PRICE INCREASES
I am going to increase my pricing on a few services. Matted dogs will be an immediate 20.00 upcharge. Determination of matting is at my discretion and I will go over the specific areas with the owner to make sure we’re on the same page. Fleas and ticks will result in 30.00 up charge.

When it comes to dog maintenance, it can get overwhelming. I offer ”in between grooms” to make sure that coats, skin, and deshedding stay in tip top shape in between baths, cuts, and deshedding treatments!
These ”in between sessions” do not include baths or blow dries, but they can be useful if you have a dog who sheds a lot or a dog who’s coat is prone to matting!
Kona, Willow and I had so much fun this Sunday! We talked about so many things, but most importantly how they’re so glad mom brought them to Paws🥰🐾

🐶🤍FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS🤍🐶
❓“Do you trim hair?”
🐾I do not! In order to keep my services affordable and appointment booking as flexible as possible, I try to avoid full body trims. However, I trim paw pads and grinch feet!
❓“Do you only groom on weekends?”
🐾Currently, I can only book Saturdays and Sundays and the occasional weekday. I have a full time job during the week, so in order to keep everything harmonious I only book days in which I have off.
❓How much notice should I give if I have to cancel or reschedule an appointment?
🐾Things happen, and I totally get it! Like most businesses, as much notice as possible is always greatly appreciated however 24 hours is also good! With only booking weekends, there is a much smaller margin for appointment times and room to shift clients around. I try to be as flexible as possible with every client and situation!
❓Where are you located?
🐾I run the Parlor out of my home, so while I refrain from giving out my specific address before an appointment is booked, I am right off of Leisure Lane and 13th St right here in Grove!
❓Can I stay during my appointment?
🐾Absolutely! I have a very open door policy! I want owners and dogs to be as comfortable as possible with the grooming process and even have comfy chairs available:)
❓Does my dog need to be vaccinated?
🐾YES! I only require proof your dog be up to date for Rabies, DHPP, and Bordatella. This ensures the safety of all clients and my own personal pets.
❓Will there be other dogs within the Parlor?
🐾Never. I only book one client at a time, so outside of family dogs, there will only ever be one dog within the parlor at all times.
❓Do you have Senior dog friendly facilities?
🐾Yes! I have two bathing options for the pups. I have an elevated tub and a floor level walk in shower all within the parlor. I can preform every service I need to from the ground so they’re the most comfortable.
❓My dog has never been groomed before. Are you comfortable with that?
🐾Absolutely. I was trained on the basis of “dog led” grooming. This means that I let the pups decide their boundaries and how they are most comfortable with each situation. It is then my job to conform to them to make the grooming experience a very positive one, even if it means lots of breaks and treats:)
