Waking up with a broken heart I feel obligated to let our Dollface Aussies lovers & family know that our sweet Goldie passed away last night. I won't go off on a rant about how much I HATE fireworks in my neighborhood, but what they're selling around here is way too intense for animals to handle. PLEASE know that if your dog is sensitive to the loud booms, get them in the house early in the afternoon and calm them down as much as possible. It wasn't even dark yet last night and the loud ones had started going off. Goldie managed to escape through 2 fences and ran down the street until she passed out and later died.

About Goldie, on a positive note she blessed our lives for 8 wonderful years and was a great fetcher and the best momma to many of our most outstanding Dollface Aussie puppies. I started to add a collage of them but I had to stop. My heart hurts too bad. She was such a nurturing dog, she recently let Missy's puppies try to nurse on her and she never stopped them or complained. She just wanted to be near the babies even tho they weren't hers. After she retired last year, her favorite thing to do was to walk around the yard with a stuffed puppy dog in her mouth. It was her baby. She truly was a momma till the end. RIP my sweet girl. And thank you for the love and sweet memories.

If anyone wants to know why I raise Australian Shepherds, THIS is why! Ace was a member of our family. More than that he was a part of our hearts that no one can take away from us. Ever. When I think of raising Jensen in his teenage years, I think of Ace. I want to give that gift to others. It's priceless to me. ♥️
