Racheal gets some love from Dad. He’s her person. 💙 This is amazing, Racheal was not handled regularly at all and required toweling. Now she doesn’t need to be toweled, even for meds when Dad’s at the helm.

Update: Racheal is doing well. We are happy to report she’s now up about 40 grams and holding since she first came home. On the down side, she is beginning to require a third dose of pain meds some days. She is still active, plays with toys and enjoys her food. Her current favorites are papaya and cucumber.

Phoebe CAN crack a walnut! When she came home with us a little over two weeks ago she couldn’t. Or maybe she wouldn’t?

Fun fact about Phoebe. When we first were introduced to her, her name was “Freebee”. As in, a “free” bird, since she was found after Hurricane Andrew.
