Breeder of Superior Quality AKC German Shepherd Puppies for Sale

In 1981 we drove to West Virginia and came back with our first Bloodhound. Her name was Cindy and she taught us much more than we ever taught her. She was born knowing all she ever needed to know about how to track. We simply had to learn how to communicate with each other. She was and is still one of the best dogs I ever had. In early 1985 I went to Tennessee and brought back a beautiful black and tan boy and named him Odie. We were seldom apart and ran tracks often and even competed in several AKC conformation shows. In late 1986 I lost Odie, a friend that always knew how to make me feel good. He would sit on the couch (all 126 pounds of him) and sing to the world while I played my harmonica. At 18 months old he died of gastric torsion before I even knew he was ill. This is very common in bloodhounds and was one of the reasons I decided to stop breeding them. Bloodhounds will always have a special place in my heart. I soon found a little girl to take my mind off of my loss. In 1987 we purchased our first German Shepherd Dog and have been smitten with the breed ever since. My brother talked me into going with him to help him pick out a puppy. I fell in love with Molly, my first working line German Shepherd out of German import lines and we have never looked back. Over the years we have owned several other breeds of dogs and rescued mutts, but the GSD has remained our number one passion. We live on a 7 acre mini farm surrounded by 60+ acres of family property and public wooded park lands. Our land borders Big Walnut Creek where we go fishing, canoeing, and swimming. Great for skipping rocks with my grandson too! We enjoy an incredible variety of wildlife here, including mink, fox, coyotes, red-tail hawks, bald eagles who nest nearby, white tail deer and other common Ohio wildlife critters. We've raised many crops and livestock animals, including cows, goats, pigs, rabbits, horses, a mule, ducks and chickens. We have two large kennel buildings with 10x12 indoor and 10x30 indoor/outdoor runs and several large play yards and pastures for our dogs' and puppies' daily exercise and playtime. Come see us soon
