I have some older boys still waiting for a home to go to. The blues, tabby, and black are 3 months old and the agouti based boys are 6 months old.
They're all very sweet and smooshy!
(And also trying to jump back into their freshly cleaned cage, they say "heck this tote prison!"🤭)
Took a couple photos of some of the upcoming cuties while cleaning today. I'll start posting the available ones in about 4 weeks!

Check out this beautiful little tabby girl from Salt x Cosmos. 😍 little Bitty white head spot and a lovely stripe. I can't wait to see how she changes as she gets older.
New breeding boys for 2024! I have a couple others that I'm undecided on yet, mainly because I don't know who I'd breed them to. 🫢

Itzli, AKA Itzi-Bitzi

It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce that our best buddy, Itzli, has passed away.
He was the first rabbit kit I kept back from a breeding pair between my buck, Makati, and my friend's doe, Annelli.
He produced hundreds of babies over his years, some of which went to various states across the US. Two of which going as far as Alaska, but the majority staying within the Midwest. Some of them becoming ESAs for their owners, and some just enjoying life as pets or breeders for those wanting magpie rex.
He was such a gentle, sweet guy. He helped me teach so many kids how to handle and care for pet rabbits, he joined in on our pop up petting zoos, hung out in my house and my office, and begged so many visitors for head scritches.
He survived 2 dog attacks back when we lived in town and still loved on our own dogs. He spent the last 2 years living with weaning kits, and was one of the only reason I continued to have rabbits out here. I couldn't bare to leave him as a solo bun.
RIP buddy, we are all going to miss you so much. 😭💔

Blue Satin Rex. I'm not sure about that black spot on his face, if that's Merle or a mosaic spot. It's only on that one area.
We still have quite the fur varies, standard, angora, Rex, texel, and now satin, too!
It's been incredibly hot here this week, and is over 100° today. The AC in the garage has been going non-stop and I have fans blowing, too. And yet the Temp seems to have peeked around 87°, though I'm not sure the gauge is entirely accurate. It seems to run about 4-5°warmer than the AC unit says.
Either way, the rattos are hanging in there. I'm definitely ready for fall. 🫠

I have both rat cage racks up and going, still have to get the base made, food hoppers, and waterline.
Also got my mouse racks, so everyone is moved in now. :)
Slowly but surely we are gettin' there.
After a little help from me, Penny successfully delivered 2 lovely lambs this morning.
One girl and one boy. 🤩🥰
Mouse babies are finally starting to arrive again!!
