Here at Heroes and Friends Farm we strive to produce quality llamas that can do more than one thing!

A little late to the party but that’s okay! Our farm was lucky enough to have 3 top 10 placings for our 2023 Show Season! Looking forward to when 2024 Results are finalized!

On top of that we were also told that our recently retried boy, Jakaida, was also awarded his ILR-SD Championship Award in Performance! We want to thank Maddie Lane for showing him over the last couple of years!

What a year for HAFF! In 2024 we traveled to 7 states and attended 13 shows. We had our biggest group of crias and are loving the quality. It’s hard to see the progress with our herd because we look at everything up close, but we are getting better at looking at the bigger picture (with the help of some amazing friends)!

We are looking forward to setting goals for 2025 and continuing to improve our herd! Hoping to get to some new shows in 2025 as well. 🙂

Sunday work day with Cheyenne’s help! The fall crias got their second lesson on the halter and made great improvements from the last time! Not everyone was feeling photogenic today but that’s okay. 🙂

“How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard”

We normally don’t make posts like this but I felt like I needed to. Tonight we unexpectedly had to make the decision to say goodbye to Hard Rock’s Ringo Starr. This boy really helped us build our herd and helped us get to our goals today. Andrea got him as a graduation present back in 2017, but he was really Erika’s boy. She could do just about anything with him and you could tell how much he loved her. He gave us some beautiful offspring and we are hoping the ones we have bred to him for next year hold.

Words cannot describe the loss we feel right now or how much we will miss this beautiful boy.

We had a great day at Kirkwood’s Deck the Stalls! Only were able to take Re*****on and Leia in the van but we loved sharing them with everyone! 🩷 this was Leia’s second time off the farm at 7 months old and she is going to be a PR Star! She learned a lot from Vicki and Re*****on! She was a fan favorite taking away the spotlight from poor Re*****on! 😂

Happy National Llama Day! We absolutely love our llamas and we can’t imagine our lives without them. They have brought some amazing people into our lives and taught us a lot of lessons. They keep us busy and we love every minute of it! 🩷

Herd Health Day today! Was one of the last nice days to do it so we are happy to have it done. So of course we had to have a photo session with some of the llamas 🙂
