Today was a great day! We started out the day doing herd health and ended it with a fun PR event in Grundy Center!

Our trailer had a flat tire when we got out there so we could only take 1-2 in Andrea’s van. So we took Melodee and Valkyrie! They did so well at their first PR event, but only could handle an hour and a half so we subbed them out for Re*****on our PR extraordinaire! We love doing PR Events and sharing our llamas with everyone! ❤️ Grateful this is something we can do as a family!

Blu is a beautiful gelded male who is ready to join your herd! He has a great start on performance and has been shown several times by his current owner placing in the top 10 of the division several times. He would make an excellent performance or 4H partner or you could take him just about any direction you want to go. With more training he definitely could be a pack llama project for someone. This almost 4 month old girl has been special from the get go! She’s been so showy and proud of herself from the day she was born and we have loved watching her grow up. We’ve been blessed with so many awesome crias this year (one to go) that it makes choosing which ones to let go so hard, but her Dam is a permanent member of our herd and we still own her sire so we feel okay letting this girl go at weaning. She would wean in December/January and since that isn’t ideal in a lot of locations we would be willing to keep her until March. Her maternal brother is a multi-performance champion! Crusader is looking for a new pasture to call home! We think he would be well suited as a pet/companion, PR llama, or 4H llama (if only attending a handful of shows, I’ll go into more detail to interested parties of Crusader) He is started in performance and was used in a 4H program since he was 5 months old until this past March. He is very well mannered, easy to handle, and is very sweet. Only reason we are choosing to part with him is we had an excellent group of crias this year and we think Crusader would be much happier with more one on one time. He does need to be with a herd or with another llama or alpaca as he is very social. (We potentially have a buddy who could go with him in a package deal!)

This might surprise some people, but it’s time for Kipton to go meet some new ladies. He has been a rockstar herdsire his whole breeding career here and at Country View Llama Ranch producing several champion offspring in Performance, Fiber and Halter. He stands at 48” at the withers and truly is a gentle giant. He’s easy to halter and will come up to get his back or neck scratched. We think Kipton needs used more than what we are doing right now. He has some awesome older bloodlines that need put to more use.

We would prefer to use him on a couple females before sending him on his next journey, but understand if it’s not possible for transport purposes.

We are looking for a farm to co-own this guy with us! He is eager to start his breeding career and we have a female or two in mind for him this fall! We think he deserves to be used more than we are able to.

He has a GREAT disposition and is performance trained. He loves doing nursing home visits and any PR events you take him to. So with co-owning him you will also have an awesome show partner too! On top of his great mind and fun color, he also has huge bone and is very correct!

We had a great time at the Iowa State Fair this past weekend! We added the Lane Family, Price Family, and Rubek Family to our show crew this weekend! It was so much fun to have them all there with us. We took 9 llamas and here is how we did, next up prepping for Nebraska State Fair this weekend!

Freya’s cria was moving like crazy tonight! It was moving a lot before I started filming go figure. 😂 Just under 3 weeks until her due date! We cannot wait for this cria out of KVF Timone’s Pride.

In case someone was having a case of the Mondays, we wanted to bring back a video from Summer 2020 to bring a smile to someone’s face! ❤️ I know it did mine. We are looking forward to summer nights with green grass, beautiful sunsets, and crias running around!
