💔 Meet Kemosabe (aka Kemo): Ready for a New Beginning 💔

When I was chosen, I was promised forever. I was named Kemosabe—Kemo for short—and we were supposed to be a family, together for life. But sometimes, even with all the love in the world, things don’t go as planned. Now, I’m looking for another home.

What will it be like, I wonder? Will it be warm, cozy, and full of love? Will I find someone who will take the time to truly get to know me? 💭

I might look tough on the outside, but deep down, I’m a big softie. I’m mature, sensible, housebroken, and well-behaved. I’m super smart and love having fun! Hiking, playing, tug-of-war, fetch—you name it, I’m all in! I love showing off my cool tricks, and I’ll do almost anything for a tasty treat. 😋

I’d probably do best as the only pet in the home, but with some time and patience, I could get along with other dogs too. 🐕💖

🚨 FOUND CAT ALERT 🚨

A Mendonoma community member found this very friendly, lost (but not feral) brown tabby roaming downtown Gualala near Sedalia and the Miramar restaurant. 🐾

He’s got a distinctive “M” on his forehead, and is a chill guy—gets along with other cats and seems super comfortable in his temporary digs. It's clear he is not a wild kitty, just a bit lost and un-neutered. 😬
