Yesterday, we held our 20th annual Jumpathon For St. Jude Children's Hospital in our indoor arena. Over 30 GRS riders participated, and pledges are in for over $5,000.00, all of it donated to the charity. Normally, St. Jude sponsors a Saddle Up program, but it is a trail ride. Jill Walter-Robinson, co-owner, invented the Jumpathon as a way for kids to collect pledges for their equestrian performance. Thank you all for a great day. We still have spaces available for our 2024 Ride N' Splash Summer Half Day Programs. We have 6 sessions designated Absolute Beginner, and one week for Mini-Mights. All the rest for more experienced riders. Campers ride for 1.5 hours, spend barn time grooming and attending a seminar, and end each half day session with a cool off swim. Summer Sessions are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Our regular lesson program is ongoing. Celebrating our 32nd year! www.grsriding.com or email [email protected] or call (203) 453-8768.
