❤️ All hands on deck for MAX!

MAX'S owner is battling dementia and was forced into assisted living. Before she left, she only asked that her beloved MAX please be taken care of.

MAX was adopted as a puppy and has lived with his mom for all 10 years of his life. You can just imagine how confused he must be, yet he remains a sweet and welcoming boy to everyone who visits.

MAX has been a loyal and loving companion throughout all these years, and now in his time of need, MAX deserves the very same in return.

MAX is a Lab/Beagle type mix, is 10 years old, weighs 55 lbs. and is in great health (even his teeth look great)!

MAX is very well behaved and is both dog and people friendly! He is potty trained and is a very easy keeper. He still has some s***k and will run and play outside...and inside he is calm and easy going.

MAX is still in his owner's home in Thomaston, CT as all of her belongings are moved out and the house is sold. A family member has been staying there with MAX for 7 weeks as they tie up loose ends, but he has no choice but to return back to his own home back Texas in just 2 weeks. This family member is highly allergic to pets and unfortunately cannot take MAX with him.

The fewer moves the better for this poor guy after all the change he has experienced. We are aiming to find an immediate adopter for MAX, but if that is not accomplished then MAX will need a foster home.

* There is NO adoption fee for MAX, but the same adoption application process applies.
