I know we have lots of pet parents near the Magnolia Springs Division off canal. There is a medium/large tan/orange dog that has passed and is on the side of the road. If anyone is missing a pup, they are kind of across the cemetery on canal.

Christmas is my absolute favorite time of year. We will be getting our decor set up soon. I have a big box that coordinates music with the lights and it’s just so amazing!!

Y’all 😭 my MIL loves to cook so for her Christmas present I ordered these aprons and Peachy Keen Creations was able to make my vision come to life. She LOVES sunflowers and Sarah was able to make it happen.

If you need any embroidery before Christmas, Sarah might be able to make your vision come alive too!!

Akika is just what Kylee has called MIL since she could talk. No clue where it came from but we’ve loved the unique name all these years later. ❤️

Sadie doesn’t like leashes due to her past so today we tried something different. She walked to the gate on her leash but once she was secured in the back, I took it off and she walked to the salon no problem! Even got to go see momma without her leash and she was SO happy. ❤️ Sadie is such a sweet soul. I’m very happy to find a way to work with her that makes her even more comfortable.

There is a mystery illness going around and researchers are desperately trying to find what is causing it. So far I have seen it could be airborne but there is no definitive. Please do not board your dogs or take them shopping with you until things are a bit more clear.

Happy Thanksgiving!! I hope all your pups eat well ❤️

While it’s on my mind because we all know how forgetful I am, I wanted to drop in your feed regarding the dog illness going around. From what I’ve researched nothing has hit Mississippi YET. It’s very helpful to be working one on one because this limits exposure clients have with each other.

I will be asking that you give your dog ample time for potty break at home. Understandable that some dogs have the nervous 💩 when they get to a groomer but I will insist you pick up their 💩 upon seeing them do it at drop off. I try to pick up it all at the end of the day but sometimes forget and get it the morning after.

I will be double sanitizing in between each dog so instead of 10 minutes between appointments, I will be setting up for 25 minutes. This means if you get here earlier than your appointment time, please message me rather than coming to my door.

Up to date vaccinations are a wonderful way to keep your dogs healthy. I understand some people have to choose between grooming for the year or vaccinations which is why I have always sanitized and kept the salon clean.

Please do not let your dog interact with another dog you are not familiar with. My dog Zelda will no longer be able to offer support to those dogs who need it for the sake of keeping both parties healthy.

This is a scary illness with pets passing from it. I would rather inconvenience you as the pet parent with these new rules rather than have anything happen to anyone’s babies if I can help in the prevention.

We got to see Roxy yesterday after her exciting trip back home to Abilene and then up to New York. Kylee and I got some gifts from the trip. Harry Potter cook book for me of course, a pumpkin spice soap and a beautifully made Amish basket and necklace for Kylee.

We are so thankful to our amazing pet parents who are always thinking of both of us ❤️

I will be on a limited schedule during December 6th-13th. The in laws are coming to town and I am finally prioritizing spending time with them and not working the entire time they are here. ❤️

If you have any suggestions on fun outings we can do or things to check out, please leave an idea in the comments. I was thinking of going to the Hattiesburg Zoo because they are doing a nighttime Christmas light walk through but stumped on what else we could do.

Every time I get multiple pets for appointments, I can’t help but think “this is someone’s entire family that they are trusting me with”. I can honestly say, I think that every time and the weight of that choice is never lost on me. I so appreciate your trust and don’t take it lightly. My dogs are the most important things to me and if someone hurt them in anyway, I’d absolutely lose my mind. That’s why when I saw a groomer go out of their way at a ‘big box store’ to yell at a dog, I immediately went to a supervisor and in the end they had a slap on the wrist type of punishment. I quit that next week because that’s not the type of behavior I wanted to surround myself with.

Your dogs become my whole world for the time they are in my possession and I don’t take your trust lightly. I truly love each pup I get and the bond I’m able to create with them just makes my heart so full. I may have 4 physical dogs but collectively, I have about 100 amazing woggles I get to love. ❤️

For the last 9 days, your pups have been thoroughly enjoying Taylor Swift’s TV of 1989.

New Romantics has been a top favorite as well as Wonderland. Lots of dancing and singing going on which makes your pups have an extra fun time!! ✨

Last time Louie came he was not feeling well at all. This time, I wasn’t feeling well and I know he could tell. He was extra loving and would go out of his way to give me affection his entire appointment.

It’s very important to me that grooming is a welcome experience for your dog. Many dogs like Libby here love to have fun and take breaks during their appointments. So with Libby and others once we are behind the gate, I take their leash off and we just run and play in the backyard for a few minutes. Then we head into the salon where we sniff around and get treats and afterwards paw pads and nails get done. We take another play break and head for bath time where we have another play break after and then get dried.

I did work at PetSmart for a few months before opening my own salon and once you drop your pup off, they usually go in a kennel and are in a kennel most of their visit when they aren’t being worked on. I didn’t want that experience for my shop and I think many of you can see the difference with your dogs between their experience with me and one at PetSmart for example. So many of your dogs LOVE their time with me and I absolutely adore my time with them. ❤️

Luna was not cooperative with the bows so they are what they are. Luna came for a bath with minimal face clean up. We are working on letting her head grow out
