LINUS, sr Tzu/Lhasa - forever foster- he’s not doing so great - demodex has flared up, lost weight, some diarrhea (no vomiting) still eating and drinking normal- TODAY limping on paw and not wanting to walk (can’t tell if he’s being dramatic or not) HAS VET APPT - please keep him in your thoughts and prayers 🙏🏻🙏🏻
he’s a puppy mill survivor and one of the most feral dogs I’ve had in Rsq (been with me for 10 years) wants NOTHING to do with people - runs and hides - as if he’s escaping from humans- even after all these years with love and affection- he’s good with dogs and loves his best friend Luke

Today I said goodbye to one of the best furbabies ever -
Bubba - he struggled with declining geriatric health issues for the past couple months- he will be dearly missed - A moment in our life, FOREVER IN OUR HEART 💔🙏🏻

One of my little very senior fosters Tzu girls, Ellie Mae isn’t doing so well- she’s had elevated kidney and liver bloodwork since January- she’s now at the point we’ve started some subQ fluids twice a week- she’s eating, drinking and active - even a happy tail wag 😍- hopefully this will put her back on track for a while 🙏🏻 / pic from a couple years back

ALABAMA - NOT shocked !!! THANKFUL they stopped it sooner THIS TIME!!! This is common place for this facility when handled by the county !!!! Hiring people with lack of compassion and concern for the animals seems to be issue !! Which should be the ONLY PRIORITY!

Help with ongoing vet care support for seniors and special need dogs in sanctuary/hospice fosters- At the closing of a little ones life vet care becomes more often, more extensive and more costly, we do what’s possible to give them quality and comfort during these final days-

I feel very blessed to have had this little fella in my life unfortunately when you do sanctuary and hospice care You have to say goodbye often and it never gets easy- After 22 years of doing rescue I’ve lost count how many times I’ve had to say goodbye but I wouldn’t trade it for the world

My little senior Bud passed unexpectedly during the night- it was a blessing to have loved him - he did come to rescue with a few medical and aggressive behavioral issues -which only made my heart love MORE ❤️ A moment on my life, FOREVER IN MY HEART ❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻

UPDATE on sr yorkie -

Simon had to have the rest of his teeth pulled except one. He has bone loss on the lower front because of his bad teeth. Vet sutered this gums hoping it will heal. He has been coughing and vet thinks it is from his bad teeth and the shape of his gums. He was bleeding and wheezing a little so she kept him overnight. He will come home with antibiotics and pain meds in liquid form.
But he will get a lot of TLC when he comes home. Vet did blood work on him while he was asleep. She thinks he might have a thyroid problem with his dry skin. Say a prayer for this sweet baby
