Hi everyone. We are reaching out on a sad note today. We had a good samaritan bring in a dog who was hit by a car up CR 17, unfortunately the poor guy did not make it. He is a young black and white pit mix. Please reach out if he is yours. (970) 641-0460

We had a good samaritan pick up a cat that was hit by a car. It was hit on the street by the Mentors building a block south of ace. The cat didn't make it, we are going to hold it for a while until and owners are found.
It was a big gray tabby. Female we think.

We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Bailey will be expecting a new addition to her family this upcoming year. Some of you may have noticed as Dr. Bailey's scrubs have gotten tighter over the past few months and have been wondering when we would spread the cheer. Dr. Bailey has been excited and humbled by the journey into parenthood so far and as she eagerly awaits the arrival of her baby girl.
She is so grateful for the support and warmth she has received from the tight-knit community here in Gunnison over the past year and a half. Being a part of your lives as a veterinarian has been an honor, and she looks forward to sharing this next chapter with the you all. With this joyful news we would like to inform you that she will be reducing her hours as the belly continues to grow and will be taking maternity leave in February when the baby comes. Your understanding and well-wishes are deeply appreciated during this period. In her absence, our dedicated team at Gunnison Vet Clinic and Critter Sitters will continue to serve you and your pets as much as we can.
Thank you for entrusting in us with the health and well-being of your furry companions. We are grateful for your continued support and understanding as Dr. Bailey embarks on this wonderful journey of motherhood. Please stay tuned for updates. We hope everyone is enjoying their start to summer! We wanted to send out a friendly reminder that we are heading in full force to our summer craziness. Most of our boarding is now booking up for weekends by Tuesday of the same week. We ask that you please try to make your reservations as soon as possible. We understand that extenuating circumstances do happen and we will try our best to work with anyone dealing with such, but please know we may not always be able to acomodate you however hard we try. As of right now we are on a wait list for this weekend and next (6/16-6/18, 6/23-6/25). We are so appreciative of each and everyone of you and we hope that you all have a safe and happy summer!

Hey everyone! We wanted to reach out to let everyone know that we will be losing Raelynn at the end of the month. Even though we are extremely sad that she is moving we are so excited for her in her next chapter! Her last day will be Friday May 27th. At this time we are exploring some options as far as our next steps. In the meantime we will be offering no frills grooming on Wednesdays starting Wednesday June 1st. We will keep you posted as we know more, until then please book your last appointment!
