People often ask us, "How do you know if your LGD are good or not?" I've also heard that a picture is worth a thousand words, so I'll let the picture tell the story. This is one of our dogs, out in the pasture with one of her goats that is in labor. They are probably an 1/8 of a mile or more from the herd and one of the dogs is there to keep her calm.

We don't offer Guardian Dog pups very often, but we have a good set available right now. These pups will be 3/4 Anatolian Shepherd and 1/4 Akbash. They were born and raised in the pasture, with the goats. We usually wait until they're older before we send them to their new herds but Mother Nature said these needed to go sooner. These are healthy pups that are ready to bond with their new herds. We have shipped Guardian Dogs all over the Country, and I feel as confident about these as any that we've ever had. If you have been to our ranch and looked at our "front pasture does", you have probable asked "Who is that 𝓅𝓇𝑒𝓉𝓉𝓎 blue doe?" Fe has been a crowd favorite by just about anyone that has ever seen her. She has been a great producer for us and is ready to go home and make you a pasture full of pretty does. Anyone that has had the luxury to have a daughter of Big Kat will understand how tough and hardy that they are, if you add in the fact that Fe is out of one of the most prolific daughters of Blue's Son, you see that this truly is the perfect storm. Fe will come with one straw of ＳＡＮ　ＤＡＹ　ＭＯＮＥＹ. We have a few Day Money/Fe does in our program and after watching them, I can't think of a better buck for her. Pay attention here, opportunities like this don't come often.

This is a doe that would never be for sale at our place. If you like big bodied, parasite resistant goats, pay attention here!

Per PJ Murphy "This doe possesses a combination of the most succesful tested genetics in the Kiko industry ever. She is the result of a flush from B16 who shares much of her genetics with PJM Copyright's Bluejay on her dam side, while being sired by RAK Austin's Boy who is one of the most successful sire of dams in the breed over the past several years. Austins Boy does produced many Maryland test Finalists and their progeny are used in high profile breeding programs. The does produced very worm resistant progeny. Her sire, SKY 213 Blue’s Copyright is a legendary sire of performance tested Bucks and grandsire through both his sons and daughters of numerous successful performance tested bucks."

This doe will come with one straw of ＳＡＮＭＡＮＡＭＯＮＧＢＯＹＳ, who was our entry at the '18 EOSC buck test. He left the test as Reserve Champion in FEC with an average FEC of 25, while weighing 94 pounds at the end of the test. If you want to raise big, meaty goats with proven, tested, strong parasite resistance, this doe/semen package should be high on your list.

Several folks have reached out, wanting to know when we are going to sell our does. Well, since the kids are weaned and the does are drying up, it is time to start letting the girls find new pastures. Our first offering will be at the Appalachian Kiko Invitational in Gray, TN.
Early on in our Kiko career, we tried very hard to find Elite, flush type does. During our search, 90% of the answers that we received were "those kind of does aren't for sale". We obviously found a few and built a few along the way, but I have never forgot some of the conversations had with breeders that had been in the industry much longer than us.
With all of that said, our first offering will all be FLUSH QUALITY, ELITE, HERD BUILDING type females that should shine in any herd in the Country. Please stay tuned over next few days as we highlight our consignments.
This should be a lot of fun!
