Our private barn with 7 horses is seeking a reliable morning feeder for M-F. Your responsibilities will include:

Bringing in and turning out horses from the pasture
Changing blankets/sheets/fly gear according to the weather
Feeding horses and dogs
Cleaning stalls
Picking the pasture
Other small barn chores

Hours are flexible, but the horses typically eat around 8/8:30 AM. If you love horses and enjoy working in a peaceful environment, we would love to hear from you! Please message us for more details or contact Lamy Buck directly.

1 boarding spot opening on October 1st at Buck Acres Farm in Guyton, GA! Please contact Lamy Buck at [email protected] for appointments.

Board is $650/month and includes twice/day feedings, coastal hay, turnout, blanketing, trailer parking and tack storage.

Each boarder will have the opportunity to put a tack trunk in front of their horse’s stall. Inside the tack room, there is space for one saddle and bridle per horse as well as one smart pack drawer for each horse’s daily supplements (owner-provided). Horses are fed Pro Elite Senior Feed (up to 10 lbs/day) with as much hay as they will eat. During the hot summer months (June/July/August), horses are turned out in the shade under large oak trees during the day with hay and are out on the grass at night.

All disciplines welcome! The riding area features a grass dressage ring (new sand just added to the outside track) and an open space for jumps/cavalettis/barrels and more. The back 10 acres features a trail around the perimeter of the property with cross country log jumps ranging from 18”-2’6”.

We were fortunate enought to get a jump on pre-bedding stalls before tropical storm debby hit.

Buck Acres has wonderful ditches that carry stormwater away. We do have minor standing water and we are feeling lucky that our horses could enjoy stall and pasture time this week.

ASTRO - 15.1hh Bay Morgan gelding. Suitable for adult ametures, advanced riders, or talented juniors. Execells on the flat and is a talented jumper. Available for rides 2x/week. Outside trainer welcome for lessons. $400/month

SUSIE - 16.2hh Belgian/Halflinger cross mare. Susie is a wonderful foxhunter and trail horse, she can require determination on the flat but is as safe as they come. Available for rides 2x/week. Outside trainer welcome for lessons. $300/month
