Hey everyone - we've been quiet on here lately but we're still looking. It's been nine months without Sugar and she has been missed every hour of every day.

We are grateful to you all for your shares, love, and support. Thank you for keeping your ears and eyes open. We so much appreciate you tagging us in found dog posts - just because it hasn't been her yet, doesn't mean it won't be her one day.

It's been seven months since Sugar disappeared from Guyton (Sandhill area). Someone has to have seen her since then or knows what happened.

About Sugar:

- 10-yo female pit bull
- Fixed and microchipped
- Brindle with white on her face, chest, and paws; has more white on her face now due to her age
- Very friendly and never met a person, dog, cat, rabbit, etc. she didn't like
- So very loved and pampered

***FEMALE PIT BULL STILL MISSING***

Sugar has been missing from the Sandhill/Guyton area of Effingham County since the end of February. She is a 10-yo female pit bull, spayed and microchipped. Beautiful brindle with white on her face, chest, and paws. Please note she is a mature lady and is greying on her face.

We have alerted all shelters and rescue groups in Effingham and surrounding counties and have been working with law enforcement. The microchip company has been notified, as have area vets. More details on our page.

Her mom adopted her when she was a tiny puppy and she is very much missed. We won't rest until we find her or find out what happened. Please share and keep your eyes/ears open. Tysm!

Hi, hello, it's me again, reminding you that Sugar is not only still missing but apparently has disappeared from the face of the earth. It is absolutely wild that the last sighting was months ago. Someone has seen her or knows what happened.

To recap, Sugar is a 10-yo brindle pit bull, fixed and microchipped, with white on her face, chest, and paws. She is very friendly and never met a person, dog, cat, rabbit, etc. she didn't like. She has been so very loved and pampered and LOVED her whole life that she is the kind of dog that would hop into a car with anyone.

She went missing from the Sandhill area of Guyton at the end of February. She was seen in the company of two men at Morgan's Bridge a few weeks after she went missing, but nothing since. (More details on our page.)

Please share, and not just on Facebook - please get the word out in your community. Someone knows where she is or what happened.

Every single time someone posts a brindle baby or tags us I check it out. One day it will be Sugar, I just know it.

It has been almost five months since Sugar went missing from the Sandhill/Guyton area of Effingham. She is a 10-yo female pit bull, spayed and chipped. She is brindle with white on her face, chest, and paws.

We're so grateful for everyone who continues to keep an eye out for Sugar. As a reminder, she was seen with two men - father and son - and the older man had a wolf tattoo on his leg. Please keep your eyes open for him too. If he doesn't still have her, he knows what happened.

Hi, happy Tuesday. For us, it is yet another day without Sugar. Someone out there knows where she is or what happened - please come forward. We will not rest until she is found.

This problem - community silence - extends beyond Sugar's disappearance. Another dog was recently dumped in horrible shape on Bell Road not too far from where Sugar went missing. A dog was shot and killed in Chatham in broad daylight. These are only a few cases in so many. Please speak out if you see something that isn't right. Dogs are often in poor condition because their owners need help, too. Every single one of us has the capability to make a difference.

Please keep your eyes and ears open, as always. Here's to hoping that someone will speak out about Sugar and our next post is an update. ❤️

I wish that there was an update to share - a sighting, a tip, anything - but there has been nothing.

Never thought we'd still be here two and a half months later, but we still need your help! Please spread the word and share!

To summarize:

- Sugar went missing early on 2.25.23 from the Sandhill area of Guyton in Effingham County.

- We believe she was picked up and so she could be anywhere.

- Verified sighting at Morgan's Bridge boat ramp near Bloomingdale/Ellabell (Chatham/Bryan) over a month ago.

-Last seen with two men; older man had a wolf tattoo on his leg and they were in a midsized grey truck.

-She is almost 11 yo, fixed, and microchipped. Brindle with white markings.

If you think you see Sugar, please take a picture and try to get details - descriptions of who has her, license plate, vehicle make/model, etc.

She has been gone for long enough that her appearance and behavior may have drastically changed. Her markings would be the same, so please look closely.
