A Happy Thanksgiving to all our customers and furry friends! If yours are here, we're enjoying lots of yard time in the nice weather and are hoping the rain passes us by. We are thankful for the opportunity to serve and the trust you put in us with the greatest dogs and cats around 😁

Hug your family and friends close. Cherish each other and tell stories of those who have gone before. We are truly blessed which can be easy to forget in this digital age. God bless us all!

We have an end of shift protocol at the Pet Lodge called W.A.G. Water, Attitude, Gates. All pets are checked at the end of each shift for clean water, their physical condition (attitude), and that gates are secure.

Especially during heat conditions like today, make sure YOUR animals have access to clean drinking water and a place to get out of the heat!

National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day is observed annually on April 30. Its purpose is to raise awareness for thousands of pets that are awaiting adoption.

In recognition of the day, the Effingham County Animal Shelter will waive adoption fees Tuesday. View its adoptable pets at ecas.petfinder.com.
