Happy Howl-o-ween week!!!

Friendly PET reminder for Halloween & Trick or Treating.

1.) Candy should be kept in a safe place away from animals. Chocolate is BAD for dogs. Candy with Xylitol is BAD for dogs.
The wrappers, toys and gadgets can all become foreign bodies (that result in surgery to remove)

2.) Parties: Make sure your pets aren't eating Candy or party food. Can cause a lot of GI upset and result in taking a trip to the vet.

3.) COSTUMES ARE SCARY TO ANIMALS:
Use caution when trick or treating with you pups or even having them near the door while passing out Candy. They don't understand and this night is A LOT for them to handle.

4.) Make sure your KIDS KNOW NOT TO SHARE CANDY with their fur-siblings.
Kids love their fur-fam and always won't to include them.

STORM PREP FOR DOGS::
A kiddie pool with sod makes a great, safe potty area for pups when we have excessive rain and winds. Put in the garage or house, porch etc... a safe area.

Storm prep for your animals::
-MICROCHIP them
-Updated tags with numbers and address even for cats
- Anxiety meds from vet
-Prepare for clean drinking water for them
-Have extra of their food and have make sure you have a manual can opener
-Take updated pictures.
- Owners with hoofed animals you can use permanent maker to put your info and cover with clear fingernail polish

Hey guys!!! Praying everyone stays safe during all this bad weather coming from TS Debbie!! I have a few reminders and tips regarding your fur-babies!!

*If you have a hard plastic kiddie pool that you can put under shelter/ in the garage with sod, grass, p*e pads, news paper use that instead of having to go out. Plus most pups hate being out in the rain.

** Make sure to have plenty of fresh water for the event of power outages. This goes for you and your fur-babies.

*** Keep all dogs on leashes during this TS Debbie. Even in fenced in yards dog can get spooked and escape.

**** Take updated pictures and put proper ID on your pets.

***** If you need more food, medications, cat litter, etc... get it now!!!
