🐶 Dogs have dichromatic vision, which means that they can see shades of blue, yellow, and gray. This is similar to red-green colorblindness in humans.

🐱 Cats have color vision, but not as saturated as humans. Yellow appears most prominent for them.

This month, we’re celebrating Falcon Buckley, a sweet and snuggly Australian Shepherd who has completely stolen our hearts! 💕 Falcon’s favorite activities include cuddling with his favorite humans, spreading love wherever he goes, and, of course, being the best boy around.

🐾 Patient of the Month: Meet Sully! 🐾

This month, we’re celebrating Sully, a remarkable 13-year-old pup with a story as inspiring as his spirit. Born on the streets of Mexico, Sully overcame a challenging start in life thanks to a compassionate rescuer, a skilled veterinarian, and the BAJA SAFE Foundation. At just six months old, he was adopted and began his incredible journey. ✈️🐕

Sully has lived an adventurous life, traveling with his loving owner from Colorado to Michigan, to Roatan (Honduras), and now enjoying his golden years in Eagle. 🏔️ Sully’s heart is as big as his story—he adores everyone he meets, whether they’re cats, dogs, kids, or humans. His loving, snuggly nature has brought joy to countless lives. ❤️

Sully, you’re a shining example of resilience, love, and loyalty. Thank you for being such an incredible good boy and letting us be part of your journey. Let’s all give Sully a big round of applause! 👏

The holidays are here, and we want to make sure your furry friends stay safe while you deck the halls. Here are some helpful tips:

🌟 Trim the Tree with TLC

Secure Christmas trees to prevent tipping.
Skip the tinsel and fragile glass ornaments.
Keep string lights and extension cords off the ground.
🍬 Skip the Snack Bowls

Keep snacks out of reach and don’t leave them unattended.
🌿 Mind the Mistletoe

Hazardous holiday plants like poinsettia, holly, mistletoe, amaryllis, and pinecones should be kept away from pets. Consider opting for artificial alternatives!
🔥 Practice Fire Safety

🎄🐾 Torbie’s Energy Crisis! 🐾🎄

Our mischievous Elf on the Shelf, Torbie, is at it again! This time, he raided the staff fridge and helped himself to a few too many Red Bulls. 🥤✨ Now he’s bouncing off the walls (literally), and we can’t keep up!

Is he trying to lend a helping hand or gearing up for the North Pole Olympics? Either way, we’ll be keeping a closer eye on the fridge from now on!
