Be the person your dog thinks you are. They see you at your best, even on your worst days, looking up at you like you’re their whole world. To them, you’re steady, kind, and someone worth trusting with every ounce of their heart. They don’t see your doubts, your fears, or the times you fall short—they see the good in you, the part that shows up with love.

Maybe it’s a reminder to be gentle with yourself, to hold onto that faith they have in you, and to rise to that version of yourself they already believe in. They show us how to be loyal, patient, and unconditionally there. So be the person who’s true, who loves without holding back, and who chooses kindness. Because in their eyes, you already are..

Just so that you know, the Hackensack Dog Park continues to be canvased for those unnecessary droppings that might have been left behind. We take pride in this fabulous amenity that we have been so fortunate to have been granted by the City Council and continue to get such fabulous support from dog owners whether they're living in the area, or just passing through.

The weather is going to start turning colder. Every effort will be made to continue to keep track of droppings during the winter months, but we really implore dog owners to keep an eye on where their pet poops and pick it up. That helps us immensely in the spring, if you know what we mean.

Feel free to include photos of your fur baby whether they're enjoying just hanging out, maybe going into the Holidays or perhaps even at the dog park! Thank you in advance for supporting the Hackensack Dog Park!

Just a quick shout out! Our Poop Patrol Volunteer is "off duty" until the 22nd of October. If you notice an unusual increase in piles that have not been picked up, we apologize in advance. Please watch where you step. And if you're a dedicated, civic-minded citizen, that has a fur baby, you might want to pick up an extra pile or two. We appreciate your assistance in this matter! Thank you for helping to keep our Hackensack City amenity clean!

Hackensack Dog Park

We need your help! Our little town of Hackensack MN plans to build a fenced-in dog park. The city has enthusiastically invited us, a committee of the Game Changers of Hackensack, to build the park on .8 acres in beautiful Bonna Paulson Park two blocks east of the downtown area just past Union Church. There are already wonderful trails in the park for walking your dog on leash, however we know dogs need and love to run and play. We want to provide that for our local and visiting dogs as we are a vacation destination in northern Minnesota. We will have the first fenced-in dog park in all of Cass County and will welcome dogs and their owners from surrounding communities. Please join us in making a tax deductible donation to the Initiative Foundation to help us build the Hackensack Dog Park.
