The Hackensack Dog Park Team would love your help! If you happen to see people in town with dogs, please don't hesitate to inform them that Hackensack HAS A DOG PARK!!!
You'll be absolutely amazed on how many people really appreciate that knowledge and had no idea they could use it. It's a great way to find out where they're from and connect. It's always advantageous to be an ambassador for our cute little town! Thank you in advance for helping to promote our wonderful dog park!!
Thanks for being a top engager and making it on to my weekly engagement list! 🎉 Sue Styve, Sue Larson, Cathy Iversen
It's that time of year when many of us, on the Hackensack Dog Park Team, go south for the cold months. Especially our volunteer stewards of picking up after owners that left their fur babies business in the dog park. It happens occasionally, but it happens.
Luckily we have those volunteers that regularly canvas the area. However, going forward, we are again imploring everybody to please pick up after your pet, even if it's in the snow. Keep an eye on your baby and make a concerted effort to pick up after they do their business.
We really appreciate keeping our acreage clean! See you in the Spring.!
Lenny has a new friend. His name is Hicks. He's not neutered, yet, and is only 7 months old. We can't even imagine how big he's going to get! We also hope that Lenny reconnects with Luna in the near future. She was so sweet and rough at the same time!
The dog park was just recently mowed. Totally poop free!
The Hackensack Dog Park is filled with little butterflies. White but slightly yellow in color. Absolutely beautiful!
A shout out to all our Hackensack Dog Park followers. Post your favorite summer picture of your fur baby. As we say every year, the summer is whizzing by, so try to slow down, stay hydrated and have fun!
Hope to see you at the Pet Parade tomorrow in Hackensack. If you want to be part of the parade with your fur baby, make sure you register at the Hackensack Dog Park booth. See you in Hackensack!
Thank you all for being patient with us as we work on the dog park. We have smoothed out the area, planted grass and will be see bringing in more wood chips.
We are looking for a few more hands to help get more wood chips and spread them out. If you would like to help, comment below
