Meet Gus!🖤

This gorgeous boy is a 4-year-old Lab/Shepherd cross weighing around 85lbs. Gus is extremely well mannered and is overall just a really good boy. He does well with other dogs, cats, kids of all ages, house broken, appreciates belly rubs, walks nicely on leash, rides well in the car, likes to swim, mellow temperament, knows basic commands, enjoys being vacuumed with the brush attachment (really!), and so on. These 2 brothers arrived on Friday and are ready to find their fur-ever homes! They are 3 month old Pit Bull Terrier mixes with goofy personalities and plenty of love to give! DOG OF THE DAY🐶

Look at this polite and distinguished gentleman!😍 Georgie is a 3 year old mix searching for his forever home. We think he likely has some Shepherd in his mix, although he is very petite, weighing around 40-45lbs! Georgie loves to play with other dogs, he is respectful and neutral when meeting new friends. We think he would really appreciate having a playmate in his new home. Georgie originally came to us as a transfer, he was adopted and returned due to not getting along with the man in the home. He has been good with our male staff/volunteers in shelter. We just recommend he meets everyone in the home prior to adoption. We want to make sure he vibes with the humans that he will be sharing a space with! Georgie is house trained and knows "sit". He loves to snuggle and get belly rubs from staff! Meet Mokers! This girl is packed with personality and looking for a home to live her best life in! Mokers is a little over a year old and loves everyone she meets. She was surrendered due to the previous owner having too many animals. She does well with other cats, has good litterbox habits, loves to play and is sure to put a smile on your face! Colton was adopted! This big guy is absolutely loving life with his new family!

His new family adores him.❤️ They say he's so smart, well-behaved and they feel so lucky to have him! They couldn't be happier with their new four-legged friend.

MEET THE THEM MONDAY👋

Meet Kathy! Kathy is a casual Animal Support Specialist here at P+C and spends a lot of her shifts working with our adoption pets! She is wonderful with the animals and always busy giving them the absolute best care possible.❤ Kathy says she has been learning a completely different type of care for animals that live in the rescue/shelter environment and learns new things everyday! She has had dogs all her life, and used to show Airedale Terriers! She currently has three rescue dogs - Axel is pictured on the top right, Betsy (adopted from P+C!) pictured on the middle right and Rene is the Airedale Terrier on the bottom right. Kathy is pictured her with her current favorite at the shelter, Doogie.🥰

Doogie is a 2 year old Heeler cross that came in as a stray and is now looking for a family to love. He is a staff favorite here! Doogie enjoys, walks, belly rubs and is learning basic commands. Give the shelter a call for more info! 218-675-7297🐾

Spotted in Hackensack on 371 by Mann Lake about 20 min ago if you are missing this dog. Was unable to get close to check collar/tags.
