My kitten Mittens is only 8 weeks old. We have been taking care of him, his brother and their mother since they were born. THIS is the dog "Bella", who was involved in the fatal tractor-trailer accident on I-81 last night. Sadly, her owner, a truck driver, perished in the tragedy and Bella sustained severe injuries, most likely from going thru the windshield. She had pelvic bone fractures, cuts & burns, and will probably need to have her back leg amputated. (Thank you Dennis Bumbaugh, of Better Days Animal League for picking her up & transporting her to Mountain View Animal Emergency). She was transferred to another local vet once she was stabilized and they are currently taking good care of her. We understand arrangements will be made to deliver her back home to the family in Georgia when she recovers. A gofundme account has been set up to help with the cost of her care. IN HAGERSTOWN MD - I am lost, please contact the Antietam Humane Soc. at 717-762-0996 if you have seen me! I am a 3yr old male very timid Sheltie named Ozzy. Lost near the Hagerstown Airport. Last seen going into a very heavy wooded area off Penn Ave beside the Act II store at 1:30 am Sunday morning. He is wearing a red collar w/tags, his hair is shorter due to a recent summer cut. Found this sweet girl this evening (1/24) along Route 40 West near Crystal Falls Dr (Boonsboro/Hagerstown, MD). She jumped right in our car. Very sweet, very skinny the poor thing recently had babies she was leaking milk. She is now at Washington County Humane Society and she was scanned for a microchip but didn't have one. STILL MISSING .. $3,000 reward for the return of Abby

Abby went missing from Tilghman, MD on July 4th. There have not been any sightings. She could have been picked up and taken from Tilghman, MD. She is a pure bred German female Rottweiler. 85 pounds. Very friendly. Spayed and has a microchip. She has a docked tail that is barely noticeable and is off center. She does not have dew claws. The most noticeable feature is her RIGHT EYE. She had surgery last year. The entire white of her eye is brown and she has a lazy eye that wanders up high. She has double vision. She serves as a companion dog for Operation Second Chance, which assists wounded soldiers. Please contact Cindy with any information 301.938.2834.

OFFERING REWARD- CUMBERLAND MD This is Maizie. She is a two year old newfie/lab mix. She is all black except for a white spot on her throat and white tips on her toes. She has wavy fur and a face more like a Newfoundland but is built like a black lab.

She bolted from the dog sitters on 10/10 while I was out of town for my son's wedding. She was in the Grand Ave area and I believe she may be trying to get home on Pear St. She has been seen several times in South End: McDonalds, Archway Station, Sheetz on Va Ave, etc. There have also been possible sightings on Dorn Ave and on Lincoln Street. I received one possible sighting on Rt 28 in Wiley Ford WV.

Gina is one the sweetest dogs ever! She is house broken and goes with the flow. She's been stuck at the shelter all summer long.

Gina is an 8 year old mixed breed. She was recently adopted from the shelter but returned because the other dog in the household would not accept Gina. Gina is quite laid back and likes to do her own thing. She loves to cuddle too! She's also already spayed. Gina still has lots of love to give to a family!

Our golden retriever, Biscuit, went missing May 1st in Clearfield County, on Caledonia Pike. We kept up with his location until the end of July....in the LeContes Mills area. Since then, Biscuit may have crossed the river (lower due to the dry weather) and may be trying to come home to Mifflin County. If sighted, please call 717-242-0361 H or 717-348-9090 C. This is Harley, one of the puppies that has been diagnosed with parvo. We almost lost Harley to the virus two nights ago. Harley is being hospitalized at Valley Emergency and Referral in Wi******er, Virginia. Harley is improving but we need to raise about $600 to continue treatment for Harley for another 24 hours in order for him to survive. Anyone that may be interested in helping, please call them to donate. We are happy to say Harleys brother is doing well.
