Growing up, dogs were always a part of my life. We had Golden Retrievers that were always around at home and at work. However my true love for dogs didn’t get started until I went to work for a local veterinary hospital working in the kennel. There I spent most of my time feeding, washing, cleaning up after and basically caring for the dogs. While working in the kennels I noticed that not all dogs were friendly or sociable. It made me very sad to see dogs that were afraid, agitated, and just plain mad to be there. So I tried to make it better.
Along this time Cesar Millan was doing his new show the dog whisperer and I was amazed at his abilities and his determination to help these animals. I went to work watching every video, taking every course and reading every book of Cesar’s that I could. As I read and learned his techniques and a few key “human tricks”, I started putting them into practice with some of the “bad seeds” at the vet. Slowly I made progress and was able to build relationships with these dogs and eventually discovered their true hearts and behavior. The trick
At the same time I had three full grown German Shepherds at home that had never been trained and they needed it bad. In the beginning when trying to walk with these three it was nothing short of a miracle if you didn’t end up being drug down the road trying to hang on. So I started putting what I had learned into practice and before long we were getting noticed walking down the road, this time in a good way. People started to say what great dogs we had and how well behaved they were. We could sit out in the front yard on a busy road with them off leash just watching people and other dogs go by. It was heaven! This was truly man’s best friend!
Let me help you have this same experience with your dogs. I will come to your home and work with your dog to eliminate any problem behaviors, such as pulling on leash during walks, separation anxiety, dominant behaviors, aggression toward other dogs, or anything else you need help with.
