GREAT DOG, LOOKING FOR A NEW HOME.
From the dog owner: This is Koa; he’s a 2-year-old German Shepard / Husky mix. He’s been a working dog for me the last 2 years. He's got a great personality. Very rough on the legs when he wants love 😂 he’s fully vaccinated and he is not fixed. He usually just rides along with me at work in the bed of the truck. Doesn’t like water but will tell me when there’s a skunk or badger that needs dealt with.

He's located in Burley, Idaho.

Here is some more info on Nancy and her kennel. Our current breeding female is from her. I did a LOT of research and onsite visits throughout the western US before selecting her kennel because of her many years of experience and focus on the right kind of temperaments for service, therapy, and family traits. I'm not saying there are no other great breeders, but I know that Nancy's is the best. She is also passionate about breeding GSDs with as much genetic screening as possible to ensure healthy offspring. And, unlike most GSD breeders, she's in it to promote the breed and does offer breeding rights for particular puppies, and many breeders do not.

Our female from her, Bella, is everything I hoped for and more. Unfortunately, we couldn't facilitate formally training her as a service or therapy dog. She's one anyway in many regards, and out of many decades of having shepherds, she is the best in terms of overall temperament and intelligence.

For anyone interested in Nancy's puppies but wants to avoid traveling to Colorado, we are more than happy to schedule a time for you to visit Bella, and two of her puppies, here in the Hailey area.

It might sound like a hassle to get a dog from Colorado; however, the slight inconvenience of traveling there is nothing compared to the benefits of having the right dog. Transporting a puppy to Boise is also available, so one would not have to fly/drive. When we picked up Bella, we flew to Denver and rented a car to drive back. The drive back to Idaho was short, and it's one of the most beautiful interstate drives I've ever been on.

We've decided to not have a litter in 2023, however, I can't recommend enough the breeder from whom our dam is from, Nancy Northstein, who has a current litter and another planned for later in 2023.
