As we celebrate Christmas and New Year’s, it’s important to keep our furry friends safe during the festivities. Here are some key reminders compliments of our sweet patient Rio:

Consider microchipping your pet if you haven’t already. This simple step can help reunite you with your pet in case they get lost amidst the holiday excitement.

Be cautious with fireworks. Many pets are frightened by loud noises, so create a safe and quiet space for them during celebrations. Keeping them indoors can help reduce their stress.

Watch out for holiday foods that can be harmful to pets. Common treats like chocolate, grapes, and certain nuts can be toxic. Stick to pet-friendly snacks to keep them healthy and happy.

By taking these precautions, we can ensure a joyful and safe holiday season for everyone, including our fur kiddos!

There’s hopes for a white Christmas in parts of NJ! As our PAWESOME clients come from near and far we wanted to share important safety information about salt and your fur kiddos paws!

When your furry friends walk on salted surfaces, the salt can irritate their paws, leading to dryness, cracking, or even painful burns. To protect their sensitive feet, consider using pet-safe alternatives for ice removal or rinse their paws with warm water after walks to remove any salt residue.

Additionally, keep an eye out for signs of discomfort, like limping or licking their paws excessively. With a little extra care, we can ensure that winter walks are safe and enjoyable for our beloved pets!

Cuddles are always ordered post-op! Sasha is the best girl 🥰 Each pet is recovered by our staff so they never wake up alone, we always want them to feel just as safe with us as they are in your home.
