Hi, my name is Budda, and I’m a 12-year-old Tabby cat. Me and my human, who’s disabled, found ourselves without a home .

I’ve been dealing with this weird lump on my stomach, and my eye hasn’t been right either. It was worrying. Luckily, my human found out about this organization that helps folks like us get veterinary care.

So, off we went to see the vet. They ran a bunch of tests and said the lump wasn’t anything to worry about, but my eye… it was bad. Too much damage, they said, so it had to go.

Before I knew it, I was being prepped for surgery. I was nervous, but the vet and their team were amazing. And you know what? I didn’t feel a thing during the surgery. When I woke up, I felt loads better, even though getting used to having one eye will take some time.

I’m just so grateful to everyone who helped me through this. My human never left my side, and this organization, Feeding Pets of The Homeless, they chipped in to cover the costs. They contributed $1,464 towards my care, which was a huge relief for my human.

I may have lost an eye, but I gained a whole lot of love and support.

🐾 Meet Jello! 🐶
I’m Jello, a 10-year-old Jack Russell Terrier, and I’ve been on quite the journey lately. I live with my loving human and we’ve been staying at an emergency shelter for a few months.
Our incredible social worker there referred us to Feeding Pets of The Homeless, a lifeline for pets like me in need. My mom wasted no time getting in touch with the organization, and after a quick intake, we were on our way to see the vet.
You see, my eye had been causing me some trouble – swelling and blindness had me pretty scared. 😟 But once the doctor examined me, it was clear that there was no saving my eyeball. I had to undergo surgery to have it completely removed.
My surgery was scheduled for a few days later and they made sure I had the medicine and antibiotics I needed to stay comfortable.
I can’t express how grateful I am to Feeding Pets of The Homeless. Despite losing one eye, I’m so thankful for the care I received. I’m looking forward to my new view, even if the adjustment takes some time.
Most importantly, my owner is over the moon with gratitude. Without this organization’s support, covering the cost of such a procedure would have been impossible. We can’t even imagine where I’d be if my condition had worsened.
Feeding Pets of The Homeless stepped in and contributed a total of $1,884 towards my care. Their kindness has made a world of difference in my life, and I’m one happy pup today! 🐾

Success Story: Joe Joe *PLEASE DONATE AT LINK IN PREVIOUS POST*
Hey there, I’m Joe-Joe, a 7-year-old mutt living with my disabled human in our van in Flagstaff, AZ. We’ve been through some tough times, but recently things got really rough for me. I started having stomach issues and trouble urinating, which made it hard for me to walk.
Then, out of nowhere, a kind person noticed my struggle and offered to take me to the vet. My human explained we couldn’t afford treatment. But this amazing person paid for everything. The vet tried treating my stomach problems, but soon I couldn’t even use my back legs properly. They thought it might be something serious, like a disc problem or issues with my prostate. But tests were too expensive for us.
Things looked bleak. My human and the vet talked about euthanasia because I couldn’t even p*e on my own. But that kind person who helped us before stepped up again. They found Feeding Pets of the Homeless to help with my upcoming surgery costs.
After being neutered and some medication, I could walk again! I spent a couple of days at the hospital to make sure everything was okay. I’m so thankful for that person’s kindness and the vet’s care. It’s amazing how people can still be so good, even when times are tough.
And guess what? Thanks to their generous donors, Feeding Pets of The Homeless contributed $760 towards my care. I’m one lucky pup!
Donate today to save more lives like Joe-Joe’s!

My name is Tuff. I am a 2-month-old male Pitbull and I live with my human who has been experiencing homelessness for the last 3 years and currently lives in a tent.
Recently, I have been dealing with an allergy issue with my eyes. My owner did not think much of it at first until one day when I woke up, I couldn’t open my eyes. My eyelids were swollen shut. He immediately started to panic and went online on his phone to look for some help.
Fortunately, he was able to come across an organization that helps homeless pets like me, Feeding Pets of the Homeless.
He called and once an intake was completed, an exam was approved immediately. I was able to go see the doctor although I really couldn’t see him, but he evaluated me and a treatment plan was approved which included: an injection, eye ointment, and medications to take with us.
I am forever thankful that there is an organization out there that can assist pets like me.

Feeding Pets of The Homeless contributed a total of $404 towards Tuff’s care thanks to the generosity of our donors. Help more pets like Tuff.

Success Story: Uncle Ben *PLEASE DONATE WITH THE LINK IN THE PREVIOUS POST*
My name is Uncle Ben. I am a 10-year-old English Bulldog. I have always had eye issues. My mom is disabled, and we have been living in her car for about two years in the Northern Nevada area. She is on an SSI stipend because of her disability, but it is not enough to maintain permanent housing or financial stability. She receives some social services like food stamps. The stamps do not allow her to purchase dog food, so I eat what she does.
A concerned citizen called animal control when they saw me and my mom in the parking lot of a local grocery store, and the animal control officer went to do a welfare check. At that time, according to the animal control officer, I seemed to be loved and taken care of by my mom despite not having a roof over our heads, so the animal control officer decided to let us stay together. A couple of days later the sheriff’s office called the same animal control officer because my mom had to be transported to the hospital. I was so scared. The animal control officer realized that she knew me and my mom.
The officer with a big heart took me to the animal shelter and decided to call Feeding Pets of the Homeless when she realized I may have an eye infection. The officer let Feeding Pets of the Homeless know she was willing to help transport me to and from the vet and would keep me in the animal shelter until I could be reunited with my mom. I wasn’t sure what would happen to me, but the officer became my friend.
Feeding Pets of the Homeless interviewed my mom while she was in the hospital; they approved $210 in services to help me get better.
My mom agreed to let the officer transport me to and from the vet even though my mom had had some trouble with other animal control officers trying to take me from her. They do not understand that my mom and I have a bond that would devastate us both if we were separated. The officer assured my mom that she was not going to take me from her and that she would keep me safe until we could be reunited.
The veterinarian found I had an ear infection and dry eye at the hospital. The vet prescribed some medication, and I am feeling much better.” – Uncle Ben
What fantastic work the animal control officer is doing with her generous and kind heart. This is a perfect example of empathy and kindness within a community.
The officer wrote us a wonderful thank you note and an update on Uncle Ben:
“I wanted to thank you again for all your help with Ben and his family. I am proud to report that I have just reunited the family back together and they could not be happier. Ben also now has a bed to call his own as well as a big bag of dog food to get him going for a while.”
A happy ending because the community cared enough to take care of both the owner and the animal.

Success Story: Bellatrix *PLEASE DONATE AT LINK IN PREVIOUS POST*
Hello! I’m Bellatrix, a 2-year-old female pug on a unique journey. Life with my dad in his truck has been our reality for the past 9 months. Despite our challenges, my dad works hard and relies on food stamps to get by.

Recently, things took an unexpected turn when I needed surgery to remove my eye. Thankfully, my dad discovered Feeding Pets of the Homeless through another organization. He reached out, and a compassionate case manager connected us with a local veterinarian who became our saving grace.

The vet confirmed the necessity of the surgery after a thorough examination and a Tonovet intraocular pressure test. Feeding Pets of the Homeless generously approved the procedure, covering a significant portion of the expenses. The surgery involved several crucial elements like respiratory monitoring, anesthesia, pain relief injections, hospitalization, pulse oximetry, blood pressure monitoring, sutures, and medications.

Thanks to the support of their donors, I’ve made a remarkable recovery and feel so much better now. Feeding Pets of the Homeless contributed $1,500 towards my care, and the veterinary partner even offered a $54 discount.

I’m truly grateful for the kindness and assistance we received during this challenging time. It’s amazing how much of a difference a helping hand can make in an animal’s life.
