I'll never forget the first piano recital I attended as a child with my mom. David Mulfinger performed an all-Chopin recital, including all the Études, at Syracuse University.

I was mesmerized and it inspired me to start learning my first Chopin Étude at age 11 (the Aeolian Harp Étude) and then perform it at a student recital.

Chopin was a favorite of my mom's too, and she always loved hearing me play his beloved music.

Here we are at the Carmel Fiesta Dog Contest hosted by several organizations, one of them was
We signed up for the Costume Contest and had so much fun meeting new FURiends

We entered 3 categories:

Cutest senior dog (pretty sure Gina was the oldest)
Look-a-like contest (we both were pianists)
Tricks contest: Left, Right, Weave between legs, go around my piano purse.

It was lots of laughs, good fun, and a wonderful way to de-stress after a long week.

We often view being “in the doghouse” as a bad situation or a punishment but for our Dogs it can be a happy sanctuary. A doghouse offers relief in times of stress especially fireworks or thunderstorms. A cozy place where they can feel safe, settled and relaxed. This can even be a crate.

Set up a familiar safe place for your Dog this Summer. Preferably inside to keep them safe from the elements. Here’s a few fancy Doghouses…You might just consider moving in with your dog!😀
