November is also Senior Pet Month. We consider your pet a senior when they are 7 years old. Laying down to eat or drink is a common sign of pain in senior dogs and cats. We also recommend looking at senior wellness bloodwork at their annual visit as well even though we are hoping to not find anything on the bloodwork. These screenings are key for early detection of diseases.
