Ally was able to make a very brief appearance at ARBA convention this year! After flying home from Sweden Friday, she hopped on another plane and magically appeared in Louisville, KY, all to surprise one of her favorite youth breeders Kaelyn Hawn! Kaelyn ended up winning BOSB Youth French Lop! Soo proud!!

We entered 2 Silver Martens, and donated a Silver Marten to the ARBA R&D Trio auction. Our two entries were both in the top 10! So beyond proud of my two entries, and wishing the best of luck to the new owners of these beautiful bucks!

We hope that everyone has a safe trip home!

The first 2 pictures are bucks that we have available at convention, the third picture is the doe that we are donating to the ARBA Research and Development committee trio silent auction. All are roughly 5 months old.

We didn't have a chance to take a look at their pedigrees before we left to head to Sweden, but wanted to list them if anyone wanted to take a look at them there. Send a PM if interested.

The 2024 Gratz Fair, our local fair, means a great deal to us. Ally has been exhibiting rabbits at the fair since she was 8 and had started 4-H. This year, we were blessed to win a Reserve in Show with the pictured Black Sr. Doe Silver Marten! It was exciting to watch our 4-H kids win high placements as well, including Carlie, a 1st year showman, win Best in Show, in both Open and Youth with her Holland Lop! Way to go!

The 2024 ARBA Convention in Louisville, KY is on the horizon! Almost a month to go, and we are sure that many breeders are gearing up for this incredible event. It's with great sadness to share, that we will not be attending in person. Due to unfortunate circumstances and medical leave over the summer, we do not have many days of PTO remaining for work, and with being invited to fly to Sweden for a grading a judging clinic right before Convention, we had to make a decision on where we would be. We will miss all of our friends, and wish everyone the best of luck.

We wanted to support the host club of ARBA Convention this year, and with the help of our great friend Brendin Freeman, we will be exhibiting 1 Silver Marten! We plan to determine which Silver Marten we will be exhibiting this week, and plan to sell him/her, so keep an eye out on this page!

Silver Marten auction ends tonight at 5PM EST, and French Lop auction starts tonight at 6PM EST and ends Sunday at 5PM EST. If you are wanting a rabbit transported, please have that in place prior to bidding. We will hold rabbits for 2 weeks only, unless other arrangements are made (We are judging quite a few fairs this month so we may be able to bring them with us if we know in advance). Reach out if interested in any of the rabbits we have available. We are very transparent and will share the good and bad about each because we want buyers to have all of the information and resources to make a good decision for their rabbitry.

A little background on the downsize. We are not fully getting out of rabbits, (Keeping 15 adult Silver Martens and 15 adult French Lops). We will show occasionally as time permits, and will continue to judge county fairs that ask. Ally will also keep her registrar's license to help anyone.

We had a great time at the Central Pa/Tri-County Rabbit show in Huntingdon, PA on 6/2! Our French Lop Solid Sr. Buck was BOB show A and B, and 2 of our Silver Martens were BOB, our Black Jr. doe for show A, and our Black Sr. Doe in show B. Our Black Jr. Buck was BOSB show B. Our Sr. Doe ended up winning 2nd Reserve in Show. It was great seeing and catching up with everyone this weekend! We aren't sure what shows we will be attending next. Right now, we are excited to have a few litters in nest boxes! 🐰

We will be in Indianapolis, IN Thursday evening, 3/28 to Saturday morning, 3/30 and they can hitch a ride with us if anyone is interested. Pickup is always welcomed at the farm.

Sorry we have been pretty quiet here recently! We will be making some changes in our Rabbitry the next few months. But first, we are gearing up for lambing, with about 25 ewes ready to lamb starting around Christmas!

We attended the Carroll County R&CBA show in Westminster, MD yesterday. We had brought 3 French Lops and 2 Silver Martens with us. This doe pictured, won her class in all 3 shows, and was BOB show A. Our Solid Sr. Doe was BOV in show B. Our Silver Martens bred by Mckenna Lynch and Ron Riddle were BOB and BOSB in show A. We are taking a long break from showing to prepare for lambing season, and will hopefully have new litters arriving in the next few months.

Yesterday was opening day of the Gratz Fair! Definitely a rainy start, but the weather is looking nice the rest of the week!

During the day, Carl and Ally helped lamb exhibitors get their projects ready for the lamb show held this evening. Last night, Ally showed a few rabbits and was awarded Best in Show Open with her French Lop doe. This same doe also won Best In Show last year!
