Attention! Free spays and neuters for pitbull and pitbull mixed dogs. The organization called Prevent Unwanted Pets (PUPS), is once again offering free spays and neuters throughout the month of February for pitbulls. Attached is the contact information for the PUPS organization. After contacting them, call us to schedule your appointment to have your pitbull spayed or neutered free of charge. A current rabies vaccination (at the owners expense) will be administered at the time of the procedure if the animal is not up to date.

Around two months ago our sign of 22 years was taken out by high winds. Today our new sign was finally delivered and thanks to our good help was installed. We hope you all have a safe and Happy New Year!

We will not be taking any appointments on Monday, October 31. All veterinarians will be attending the funeral of Ann Adix (Marilyn’s Mother) who passed away at 92. Limited clinic staff will be on hand. Normal appointment scheduling will resume on Tuesday, November 1st.

Due to the status of COVID-19, we are changing our admission policies to limit viral exposure to our clients and staff. This is in an attempt to continue to provide safe services for our clients and your pets. In order to keep the clinic as clean and safe as possible, we are asking you to help us with the following:

•We are seeing patients by appointment only

•Wash your hands thoroughly before coming to the clinic

•Reschedule your appointment if you have been exposed to or are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough, shortness of breath)

•Practice social distancing by maintaining a minimum of 6 feet from others when visiting the clinic

•We ask that only one person accompany the patient into the clinic

•If you need food or medications, please call us beforehand at 361-798-2550. We will do our best to have them ready for you so you can quickly exit the workspace

•If we are experiencing multiple clients in the clinic at one time, we may ask you to temporarily wait outside or in your car

During this time, we have increased the frequency of deep cleaning in the common areas of the clinic.
