🚨 We have a rare opportunity that has come up! Please read the description his mom has put together. We are helping her find a great home as she is not able to keep him unfortunately. Located in the Duluth area.
**Meet River: A Loving Golden Doodle Looking for a New Home**
River is a delightful 6-month-old Golden Doodle (43 pounds) with a personality that shines bright. He has a heart full of love for everyone and everything, easily forming bonds with dogs, cats, and humans alike. His friendly demeanor makes him a wonderful companion for any family.
**Training and Skills**
This intelligent pup has mastered several commands, including:
- Sit
- Come
- Outside
- Potty
- Car ride
- Kennel
- Wait
River’s responsiveness to commands demonstrates his natural eagerness to learn and please. Furthermore, he is 100% potty trained and signals when he needs to go outside by using bells, making it easy for his future family to care for him. He is also kennel trained and comfortably settles in when left alone, be it during the day or at night.
**Health and Vaccinations**
River is in excellent health with no medical issues to report. He has received all necessary vaccinations, including Bordetella, ensuring he is well-protected. While he has not yet been neutered, our vet has suggested waiting until he grows a bit more.
**Social Dynamics and Outdoor Love**
River thrives in social settings, getting along splendidly with our cats and an older Golden Doodle. He thrives on companionship and adores attention and cuddles. This lively dog would be happiest spending his days outdoors, exploring and enjoying the fresh air.
**Looking for a New Home**
Unfortunately, I must make the difficult decision to re-home River due to significant health issues I have been facing. I simply do not have the time or physical capacity to train him to the level he truly deserves. This decision is in no way a reflection of River’s behavior—he has done nothing to warrant it.
River deserves a loving home where he can continue to flourish and engage with his family. He is ready to become a devoted companion and bring joy to another household. If you’re looking for a friendly, well-trained, and affectionate pup, River may be the perfect fit for you!
