Meet the staff Tuesday! 🐾

This is Kathryn (Katie) Sandel. She is a veterinarian at Ham Lake Veterinarian Hospital. She had been in the industry since 2010. When she started her schooling for veterinary technology.

Dr. Sandel went to many schools across the country. She finished her undergraduate degree in Veterinary Technology at Fort Valley State University in Fort Valley, Georgia. Dr. Sandel achieved her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota on the St. Paul Campus.

Dr. Sandel prides herself on being a patient advocate and finding solutions that work for our furry friends and their family.

Outside of work, Dr. Sandel coaches her daughter's hockey team. She also enjoys watching her son play hockey and both kids playing soccer. She has a third child who is autistic and is always so happy. Dr. Sandel wishes she could match her happiness every day.

Interesting Fact: Dr. Sandel helped save her dog when she was a technician in Georgia with the assistance of a doctor. After being hit by a semi. He got the name Semi. Over 9 years later and Dr. Sandel still has Semi.

Dr. Delaney is a passionate and dedicated veterinarian at the start of their professional journey is small animal veterinary medicine. With a love for animals that began at a young age, Dr. Delaney brings fresh knowledge and enthusiasm to their practice. Beyond her work, she is a proud owner of two dogs and a herd of horses (plus a mule), reflecting her deep connection to animals of all kinds. She is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care and looks forward to building lifelong relationships with both pets and their owners!
