4 weeker Charlie (aka Charlie Man!) is here with us to learn how to coexist around other dogs. Before training, his owners had trouble regaining focus on walks when other dogs were visible. We weren’t sure if he was just reactive, or truly dog aggressive.
His owners love this boy to death and had very realistic goals for him. If he likes dogs, great. If he doesn’t, great - but he needs to be able to coexist.
Turns out Charlie found a great buddy in his trainer’s pup!
These two meatballs are entertainment to say the least!!

Group training sessions from yesterday, Featuring: Charlie, Molly, Penny, and Deuce (Lenny on the treadmill is a paid extra 🤣)

Deuce came to us to work on socialization and neutrality around other dogs, where he really struggled before training. Some dogs actually like dogs and their fears are what’s causing their reactions or aggression. Some dogs simply don’t like other dogs. With dogs like that, the goal is not to make best friends. The goal is to ignore, coexist, and tolerate. Deuce has grown leaps and bounds during his 5 weeks here, we could not be happier!
