Murphy is on the move, everyone!
Murphy has a really tough time being out in public. He’s nervous, unsure, and wants to flee.
Small baby steps like this are geared towards building up his confidence and proving to him that his handler has everything under control 🥰🫡🦮
Deuce is here with us in our 5 week board and train program to work out some behavior modification, as well as general socialization with other dogs.
Socialization does NOT mean:
-dog greetings on leash
-throwing a few unfamiliar dogs in a space together to play
-saying “hi” to every dog we see
Today Deuce started his day by simply walking next to another dog during his treadmill session.
Seems like nothing, right?
“Nothing” teaches Deuce that other dogs aren’t scary, they also aren’t his problem, and we don’t need to interact with every dog we come across.
Tis the season!
Low and behold it is not only snowing outside, it seems to be coming down in the groom room as well!

When training teaches your reactive Labrador to become inactive (in a sense, any way 💪🏼😆)
Ranger’s last field trip this morning was quite eventful!!
Instead of Ranger taking part in the action like he used to, today he took it all in and allowed me to make the decisions and lead the way. He is learning that life is much easier this way!!!
