Gaia is back for Day Training with a big focus on some socialization!
Murph man (an OG daycare go-er) knows how to get most any dog to play and they sure did!
Consistent socialization is the key to continuing to build your dogs confidence and comfortability around dogs. Daycare and day trains are a great place to start!

Another post about our 5yr anniversary in our facility! For those of you that do not know how it all began, here are some pictures from the purchase of my property, to all of the construction, builds, and renovations since the purchase in 2019! Our open house was March 1st 2020 and we have continued to upgrade our small state of the art facility!
It’s been such a fun journey and definitely very rewarding to look back on! Could not be happier with the facility and team I have built, and could not have done it without so many friends and family in my corner! 🩵🤍🩵
My clients have been amazing and it’s crazy to think this started out in a basement I rented and lived in back in 2017, to a garage with 7 kennels…then to THIS! Thank you to all of our wonderful clients!!!
My family could not thank you enough ❤️

Copper started coming to Premier K9 as a young pup, and boy did he HATE getting groomed! Every part of it was quite a production.
Our daycare and boarding team did wonders in working with him, getting him to a point of tolerating the process.
After copper went through training, we tightened up a few things in the tub and now he’s not quite sure if he’s getting a bath or enjoying a massage 😂
The difference from puppy Copper in the tub to now is night and day! 🛁🧼

Yesterday marked our 5yr anniversary in our new current facility! We have been in business for 8yrs now and I could not be more proud of my team! It has been a journey of learning and I absolutely love what we do, the dogs we help, and their families!
Here is to the next 8yrs! 🐶 🩵

It’s hard being the cutest boy in town!

Cooper is boarding with us and his owners tacked on a few days of training to work on leash manners, etc.
Labs are notorious for letting their big excited feelings get the best of them, so teaching Cooper to slow down and smell the roses will surely come in handy!

Off leash training session with Walker this morning! I’d also like to thank Walker’s best friends Copper and Baron (off camera) for acting as tempting distractions for him 😊😆

Gaia is here with us for a day of Day Training to work on her down-stay command, and her leave-it command. At the root of both problems: impulse control! Day trains are a great way to tighten up commands that your pup may already know, but aren’t as rock solid as we need. Call or message with any inquiries about our day train programs to see if it would be a good fit for you and your pup! 🐶

Practicing some impulse control around food with Copper this afternoon. The drool is a good indicator of the challenge set forth 🤣

☃️🎶 No reactions in a winter wonderland 🎶 ☃️

The best reward you can give a beagle after a successful field trip? Uninterrupted sniff time! The result of uninterrupted sniff time? Instant nap time 🤣

No more resource guarding for training dog Copper!!! Even the sweetest of boys (and he is!) can have not so sweet tendencies! Time to nip that in the butt!
