We are having our 1st ever Booze Raffle. $5 a ticket and you’ll be entered to win 25 bottles of booze. Picture is of the actual bottles we have collected so far. Here are some of our wonderful adults that are available for adoption at our center located at 6580 Gowanda State Road in Hamburg. All adults are $75 to adopt until September 30th and our FiV+ adults are $50. We are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 5-8p, Tuesday from 5:30-8:30p and Saturday from 10a-3p
This gorgeous little girl is Brooke. She is 3 months old and so loveable. She instantly purrs when picked up, is sweet and very playful (wand toys are her favorite). She loves to snuggle with you when she’s all tuckered out and gives nose boops. She needs to go home with a furry friend or have another pet in the home. She is too social to be an only pet, she would get lonely. Brooke is available for adoption and is at our center located at 6580 Gowanda State Road in Hamburg. She good with kids and other cats but has never been around dogs so that is unknown at this time. Her adoption fee is $175 and includes her spay, all vaccinations and microchip. We have taken in a lot of cats and kittens over the last few months and we use these dishes to keep their condos clean. Since we have so many cats we have no more available to place into new condos for new intakes. These ensure that their food and water do not get knocked over and they have a clean and dry area to rest in. Please consider donating some for our furry friends. Thank you so much!

It’s hump day. The weather will be sunny and 78°. We’ve made it to the midway mark. Hang in there for the weekend. Stop by after work we’re open 5-8p tonight. Located at 6580 Gowanda State Road in Hamburg
This is Kirby. He is quite the character. When it’s quiet he is the biggest love bug and will give head butts, sit on your shoulder, purr with pets, snuggle up next to you and happily make biscuits. When it gets loud and he gets overstimulated (he really does not like other cats) he gets cranky and can swat and yowl. I know that in a home of his own he would shower his owner with all of the love he has to give. Kirby will need a quiet home with no other animals and no small children. Give him a chance, you won’t find a better companion.
This pretty long-haired gray girl is Zoey. She was found as a mama raising her three babies and trapped by one of our independent trappers. She finds it hard to trust people and need someone with the time, patience and energy to give and gain her trust. At times, she can be playful, and will hesitantly accept pets but typically she is sleepy and likes to nap in the sunshine. She finds moving cars intriguing, and with the right person will thrive and bloom like a flower. This is Lyra. She is about 5 years old and is the definition of tortitude. She can be overstimulated with all of the other cats at the rescue. She can be feisty, but she also has a very big voice for attention and when she wants pets and attention she’ll let you know. She’s playful, like scratches on the head, but once she’s done, she makes it known. She screams for food, and is not a big fan of being held. She would do best in home with no kids and no other pets. These 2 silvery beauties are Stoli and Ardesia. They are a bonded pair that need to go home together. They also need someone who is willing to be patient and wait for them to learn to trust you. They’ve been failed before by a human and are slow to come out of their shells, but gain their trust and they’ll be your loyal companions. They would do best with just each other and no other pets or small children as loud noises scare them. If you think you can teach them to love and trust humans again then come and meet them at Heart located just outside the village of Hamburg at 6580 Gowanda State Road

I’m Cheddar and I’m around 1 year old. My Momma didn’t want to give me up but wanted what was best for me so I’m back at Heart and looking for a new family to call my own and snuggle and play with. I’m the sweetest boy ever. I don’t like to be held but I do love to be next to you and get pets and affection. I am Luna and am almost 2 years old. I was surrendered by my family to Heart and would love to find a home of my own. I’m not a fan of so many other cats and would prefer to be a solo pet or maybe a quieter calmer cat as a companion. Today is Labor Day! Many of you get to sleep in and enjoy an extra long weekend. The weather today should be beautiful and sunny with a high of 66°. Have a wonderful day! Our center is closed today but will reopen Tuesday at 5:30p for visitors. Don’t worry just because we are closed doesn’t mean the rescue work stops. Our wonderful volunteers will be at the center morning and evening to take care of our resident cats.
