The same powers which have been maliciously hounding us for years have renewed their efforts. Today we were threatened with a negative review after a (now former) client premeditatedly fabricated a conflict. This attack is directly related to another attack last Friday. Our daughter’s first birthday. I do not believe the timing was accidental. Friday’s attack ended with the problematic individual inexplicably calling the police. She was subsequently trespassed from Spring Glen Vet.

We have heretofore done an excellent job preventing these attacks from affecting patient care. We however have not been perfect, as you may recall Idexx and their cronies’ temporary restriction of labwork. We hoped this nonsense would cease. It has not. We now appeal to public awareness. Hopefully this helps.

These beauties are DESPERATE for forever homes with medically responsible and loving owners. 🤞🏼

They've both had a rough start from being deserted or returned, fending on their own, lack of much needed medical care, living in doggie jail now. 🥺

Isn't time a human step up to help them permanently?

They enjoy:

🥩snack time
🫂cuddle time
🌞grass rolls and sun bathing
👫 men, women, kids
🥏 playing fetch... mostly keep-away
🏳️ winning at tug-o-war

They are both intelligent, good listeners and food motivated which has been helpful with obedience training- they have come a long way from where they began (since no one took the time to teach them manners or boundaries).

💕They LOVE anything that involves a human which is ironic seeing a human is what got into them into this sad mess. 💔

If you have room in your heart and home, PLEASE consider one of these goobers- you won't regret it.

Clover has the cutest Yoda ears and King gives the best kisses. 💋

This sweet girl is currently living outside in the Whitneyville area. She is being cared for by a handful of neighbors, has been spayed and has had all her vaccines. No one in the neighborhood is currently able to bring her in. If anyone is interested in her please contact Jackie at 203-641-3195.

The amazing staff and volunteers (big shout out to Carly for being AMAZING) at The Animal Haven have settled on the name Sarge for this amazing and sweet pup. He met everyone (who unsurprisingly love him because he is wonderful) and settled in to his for now home very well. They are going to complete his vaccine series in a few weeks and neuter him while he waits for his forever home and family.

We just had someone leave us permanently because they did not have any form of payment on them but promised to call us as soon as they got home. Please understand that needing payment prior to leaving is not personal. When we have allowed that over the years, including for some long time clients and even another local small business owner, more often then not we never receive payment. For this reason payment is required at the time services are rendered. Thank you for your understanding.

Update: Animal Haven to the rescue! Rory received treatment for fleas, all his vaccines, bloodwork and is scheduled to be neutered. He was picked up by Carly with Animal Haven about 10 minutes ago. Thank you to everyone for sharing and please wish him luck!

Ok SGVC community and friends we got a baby here in need of your help. This guy was found recently and picked up by Hamden Animal Control. He has not been handling confinement or a shelter situation well at all but has been amazing so far here at the clinic. He is in desperate need of a foster situation. At the shelter he seemed dog aggressive but he has not been aggressive when seeing other dogs here at the clinic. For safety purposes though, at least until we know more about his personality, a household with no other pets is ideal. If you have room in your home and your life or know anyone who might please give us a call. We are going to try a little socialization today and see how he does out of the shelter environment. If the only way you can help is to share this post and get the word out you will be doing him a great service. Thank you all in advance for your help and please send positive thoughts and prayers his way!

Meet Yoko:
Yoko is a very affectionate, sweet girl and a fervent purrer rescued from the streets of New York City. She was very attached to her human mom who recently passed away. Unfortunately, she has had some issues with peeing and defecating in the cat box. These issues started when a second cat was introduced to the home about a year after she arrived. Additionally, Yoko’s mom wasn’t the best at keeping the boxes clean—a big no-no.

Ideally, Yoko will do great in a home that doesn’t have other cats—she gets along with them but this may exacerbate her current litter box avoidance issues. She’ll need a cat parent that regularly cleans her box. She may even benefit from being able to go outside when she wants to allow her to do her business outside and get some of her listless energy out.

Yoko would very much love not being sent to a shelter. Will you consider giving her a chance?!
