Reaching out for some volunteer help!
We need volunteers, honestly any day we could get it to help with our foster dogs. Taking them on walks, feeding, taking pictures, occasional baths.
We are so grateful that we have the opportunity to take in so many foster dogs and save their life from the horrible fate that a lot of them may have but we are so busy with boarding and daycare that the fosters are getting as many walks/kisses as they would like.
If anyone could come at either 8am to whenever or 3:30pm to whenever, we would appreciate more than you know!!
We do have waivers that have to be filled out to volunteer!
• 18 or older can come whenever and sign for themselves
• 15 - 17 must have a parent/guardian sign for them (we can email it, if you’re at driving age)
• 14 or younger must be accompanied by a parent/guardian!

Hello Red Woof family, in the past several months we have been able to help probably more than 50 dogs, rehabilitate and find their forever families! Which is so awesome that we can do that but us continuously trying to help as much as we can, we have overbooked ourselves and need your help!!
Some of the things that you could do to help us:
- Become a long-term foster
- Become a short-term foster
- Become a weekend foster (Friday - Sunday)
With the summer season of boarding coming up and never booking a single foster dog into our system, we don’t have enough room for our fosters as we did in the colder months.
Fostering is something that can bring joy to your family and help out the community. These dogs are just looking for a place to crash for a little while they find their forever families. Fostering does not mean that they have to be completely cohesive with your family, sometimes they may have to be in a crate a little longer than we would all like, but in the bigger picture, they are not being abused, mistreated, or euthanized.
I hope that this can pull at someone’s heartstrings and give them a chance. Sanctuary in the South provides everything from a crate to the dog food to vetting for all of our foster dogs. The only thing we need you to provide is a loving home and a lot of belly rubs.
Having more fosters for our rescue means that we can pull more dogs (without overbooking ourselves) from animal control and help the awful fate that a lot of them they have, which is them being euthanized. Animal controls kill several times a week in mass amounts and it makes me absolutely sick!!
We have 10 adult dogs and 9 puppies a Red Woof. SITS just cannot take any more intakes until we find people willing to open their homes to these dogs for just a little while until they search forever families.

There’s no quite like a puppy’s ✨glow up✨ from a wiggly blob of fur into an actual (and adorable) dog with personality and charm. We simply cannot get enough. And this crew of cuties might just be our favorite one yet. 🥹
When we pulled Victoria and her babies from animal control, they were severely malnourished and growing a few weeks behind where they should’ve been for their age. There were more than a few worried conversations about things like eating habits and weight gain, and some of our friends did need a little extra TLC to catch up. But they did. Which means we’re lucky ones who now get to re-introduce you to seven perfect and very ADOPTABLE faces:

re open and they will be ready to leave us in just one short week. Each is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, has been dewormed and microchipped, and will come with a spay/neuter voucher. 💛
Red Woof is taking a work vacation this year. The whole staff will be going on a cursie. So we will be closed November 2nd though the 7th. No boarding or doggie daycare.
We are 100% devoted to this amazing rescue and love to help where we can, if you have an extra space for these precious babies to spend with you for a little bit, it would help in more ways that you know. If you have been to Red Woof recently you know, that we love these babies with our whole hearts and love to see them thrive.
The harsh reality, is animal controls are killing dogs almost every other day because they are overpopulated, with more fosters on our side we can pull more dogs and saving more life. Please help if you can, the dogs and I would appreciate it so so much!!

Good morning dog lovers!!! We have a basic obedience class starting Monday, January 29th at 5pm. This is our 6 week basic obedience training course, you and your fur baby will come once a week. I bet your fur babies New Year’s Resolution is to be 100% good dog! We have training courses that can help them reach their goals this year!!! Your dog will learn a number of basic commands on leash. We have a 6 Week Group Class, where you and your dog come once a week. We are starting a class Jan. 15th at 6pm. Teddy & Oswald during their 10 day stay & train program. These boys rocked it! Teddy went to go with us to Champions Restaurant in Callaway Gardens and then we look a long walk around the gardens. Teddy is one of our doggie daycare dogs and he has come so far!! Oswald went to Dicks Sporting Goods, Hobby Lobby & worked on his table etiquette at Country’s BBQ! Oswald is such a sweet boy and so smart. He is currently living with his foster family at PCS Pups!

This is Ghost a Bull Terrier. As you can see, Ghost does love ball. He is learning to sit and stay with distraction.
We have a couple of dates coming up for stay and train program. We have August 9th through the 16th. In September 13th though 20. And September 20th though 27th. Are all basic obedience sit, down, stay, come, let's go, off, no and place on leash. Cost is $400 for the week. Additional dog in the same week same family is $300. Can add an extra week for $300. Your dog will stay here for the whole week you will drop off on Monday and pick up on a Monday.
