We are a small animal veterinary clinic in Hamilton, Montana. Skalkaho Creek Veterinary Clinic is the only Fear Free Certified Practice in Western Montana! Owner Dr. Emily Race has 20 years experience with companion animals and has fine-tuned her building, staff, and schedule to make every patients' visit go as well as it can. We look forward to the addition of Dr. Hannah Hildebrand as a full time

veterinarian in winter of 2022/2023. We offer all routine exams, vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, soft tissue surgery, mobile ultrasound, digital x-rays and diagnostic lab work for your companion pets of they fall ill. Physical Rehabilitation offered on site by a trained and certified professional with ability to treat with Class IV laser therapy, massage, joint mobilization, and canine gym equipment.

We are building an additional exam room to the north end of the building.
If your animal is fearful of construction noise, and we have active construction, let us know, and we will accommodate your pet!

Patient spotlight 🦆🦆🦆
This gal, named "Sans-a-toe" was developing a lesion on her toe, which also became infected, making it very painful for her to do her daily-duck things.
While Sans-a-toe was under anesthesia, Dr. Emily performed an amputation of the toe which healed wonderfully with carefully placed stitches.
Once the stitches were removed by our nurse, Hannah M. Sans-a-toe was given a clean "bill" of health!
