Calling all exotic pet people!
Dr. Emily sees all sorts of exotic pets like reptiles, birds, small mammals like rabbits, mice, rats, guinea pigs, sugar gliders, and more!

For fun - below is a check up x ray on two newly adopted leopard geckos. The x ray gives the veterinarian information on bone density and intestinal tract / reproductive tract.
These two girl leopard geckos have great bone density from proper lighting, husbandry, and calcium supplementation. However, they are ingesting the sand substrate when they eat their bugs. This shows up as the bright white part in the middle of their bellies. Moving forward, this owner will feed the geckos on a surface that cannot be ingested.
