Policies..
I hope I don't upset people but I just want to lay them out there so everyone remembers them. In the last 34 years the last 5 years I have had several no shows or last min cancelations. I know were all busy but my time is valuable too.🕐 I can not get someone moved to your late/missed appointment so therefore a 24 hours notice is required or the price of your groom fee applies to your grooming acct card. Of course bad weather or sickness is understandable and no charge will be made. I give 20 mins after the appt time then your groom time is charged at a no show.
📆 Your appointment time, you may come 10 mins early but know you might have to wait til your appt time. Dogs can wiggle and get excited so please be patient and wait in your car parked by the tree in my front yard so I can see your here. Nothing is more frustrating than making a mistake on an almost finished dog because someone walks in or knocks. On most dogs, I figure 2 hours for the groom. Of course most don't take that long but I never know who might pop in, time to calm a dog or go slow for our senior/puppies.
Please try to be on time on picking up your dog. If you work and your dog needs to stay all day, a day board charge will apply. After all I have to stop my schedule and walk your pup several times 🙂
Mats, Fleas, dog poo's/pee's in crate/on table and dogs with attitudes..lol are additional extra charges that could pop up. Please brush/comb! Your dog, feel free to ask what kind of combs or brushes are need. If Mats are bad, shave down may occur due to its less stress on the dog! FLEAS! Yes the nasty lit things! make me creepy all day if I find them on your dog. Sadly I have to completely treat my whole room and boarding area if I find a flea on your dog! So I charge for that! It's easier to visit w your vet and get on a treatment like Nexgard.. which I highly recommend! FYI Frontline does not work.
Please make sure you allow your dog to do its business before you bring it here. If it gets car sick normally, then please skip the meal before the trip out. It happens I get it but lets prevent it if possible. But pooping or peeing on the table or in a crate can be stopped if you just give them time to do their business at home. I understand dogs cant talk and tell you when they need to go.. But you should know their bodys schedule. I work hard to make your dog look good and then it potty in a crate waiting for you, then I have to rewash them.
Biters, I no longer risk myself or employees with a biter. If we get bitten, we will stop the groom! Call you and you will be required to pay ER visit. (I give some on this as to puppies or such) and there will be a bite fee.
We do not do anul glands, go to your vet. Studies have shown that it can cause scar tissue and other health risks.
In all, we want you and your dog healthy and happy! Tips are nice! It lets us know you truly like the grooming and appreciate us! All comments good and bad are welcome! Boarding is $10 a day for continuous stay. $20 for daycare.
