Here are a few notes as we head into opening weekend:

1. Reminder - WE ARE NOT TAKING ON ANY NEW CUSTOMERS THIS SEASON.

2. We are out of town this weekend. Returning customers, please go to this link to fill out a work order form if you harvest a trophy this weekend. https://forms.gle/kGv48T7NxhNeUdPm6

3. If you cape the deer yourself, DO NOT cut past the sternum, and give us all the hide from the elbows up and tail forward. If you're unsure, please don't do it yourself.

4. Please keep your trophy as cold and dry as possible until you can get it to us or the meat market.

5. Our dropoff freezer is available, but it has limited space. Please keep that in mind.

We will now be doing our work order forms through Google forms. This will ensure everything is legible (some of y'all have terrible handwriting! 🤣), and you will have the option to upload a reference photo if applicable.

Edit 2: This form is ONLY for existing customers who want to guarantee a spot for their mount. You are not required to fill it out when you bring us a mount.

Edit: we are not accepting new customers this season. If you think you'll bring us a mount and we have done your taxidermy before, and your phone number has changed, please call/text/email us with your updated contact info.

We are going to do things a little differently this hunting season!

We will only be taking in 25 TOTAL shoulder, half life-size, and life-size mounts. If you would like to guarantee a spot for your mount, please click the link below and follow the instructions. BE SURE YOU READ ALL OF THE TERMS. We are not responsible if you don't read them or follow the instructions.

Currently there will be no limit on European/skull mounts or tanning/rugs. This is subject to change, and we will make a post if that should happen.

Good morning!

We have 4 boxes of this plexiglass, completely untouched (one box was opened but not used), with the protective adhesive still intact.

That's 8 sheets total!

Latest mounting update!

Invoice numbers are on individual photos. There are several that we didn't get pictures of before sending home or transporting to the shop in town. 😬

If your mount has been skipped, it is for one of the following reasons:
1. Supply chain issues (biggest hang-up this year)
2. No deposit received - you will now be paying the 2022-2023 price
3. Mounting instructions still not provided
4. Pending completion of a tine repair or similar

Opening weekend is here!

A few reminders for all of our hunters:

▪︎ You MUST come by the shop to fill out paperwork. We WILL NOT pick up from the meat market until you have done so. No exceptions!

▪︎ We are only taking 50 shoulder and life-size mounts this season, so call us before you come by to make sure we still have availability.

▪︎ If you are unsure how to properly cape your deer for a shoulder mount, please call us first, or have the meat market do it.
